The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. We stayed one night. I don't think I've ever felt more welcome than in that hotel.

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... We liked all: the place, the breakfast; the dinner; the room;the view. Beside us just sheeps! And the welcome was so great!

Loved the views and the accommodation was really comfortable with everything you needed for a few days. Bed very comfortable. Ski Bar on site had good meals and lots of drinks choices and the staff were very accommodating. Very dog friendly. Try Riva Gelato just over on the campsite which has lovely ice creams to choose from. Easy to get to lots of different places from where we were. We were unfortunate enough to encounter almost a full day of heavy rain but the accommodation has a good TV with lots of channel choices so we were able to keep entertained when we couldn't get out. Communication with the owners was excellent. We will be visiting again.

Lovely location. Everything you would need, we only stayed for one night but would have been a lovely place to spend longer and we will definitely be going back.

Objekat Gatesgarth Cottage @ The Pheasant Inn nudi besplatan WiFi i bar, a udaljen je 30 km od znamenitosti Thirlwall Castle i 33 km od znamenitosti Brougham Castle. Absolute gem. Cutest house ever. Kitchen downstairs was well equipped lareg and lovely. Upstairs two bedrooms and two bathrooms were beautifully presented. Beds comfy. A lovely little sitting room upstairs was perfect to relax. Lovely views of farms from windows. Quiet peaceful Dinner at the pub was delicious and staff friendly and helpful. Loved to have stayed longer
