The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. Everything, the overall experience was lovely, the staff are really nice, hotel is super cozy & clean would love to be back again

Located 18 km from Buttermere, 1 The Croft provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Cockermouth is a beatifull and quite town. the apartment have a gorgeous view beside the river.

Tranquility No 42 Port Haverigg Marina, a property with a garden and a bar, is located in Millom, 42 km from Lake Windermere, 43 km from Wasdale, as well as 49 km from Scafell Pike. Loved the views and the accommodation was really comfortable with everything you needed for a few days. Bed very comfortable. Ski Bar on site had good meals and lots of drinks choices and the staff were very accommodating. Very dog friendly. Try Riva Gelato just over on the campsite which has lovely ice creams to choose from. Easy to get to lots of different places from where we were. We were unfortunate enough to encounter almost a full day of heavy rain but the accommodation has a good TV with lots of channel choices so we were able to keep entertained when we couldn't get out. Communication with the owners was excellent. We will be visiting again.

Stay here and you will find a property with an upmarket feel, tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, with fabulous touches such as a wonderful shower and comfy bed. Highly recommended!

Flosh Cottage Lake District, a property with a garden, is located in Cleator, 23 km from Muncaster Castle, 29 km from Scafell Pike, as well as 29 km from Buttermere. Everything was perfect, the decor beautiful, bed comfortable, host helpful, bath big and deep, TV huge ! Would definitely stay again.

The Old Chair Workshop is located in Sedbergh, 44 km from Trough of Bowland, 18 km from Kendal Castle, as well as 29 km from Brough Castle. Quirky and compact but well designed, functional and very comfortable space in beautiful Sedbergh. Ideal location for all amenities. Very helpful host. We look forward to returning!

Situated 37 km from Askham Hall, Gatesgarth Cottage @ The Pheasant Inn features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Absolute gem. Cutest house ever. Kitchen downstairs was well equipped lareg and lovely. Upstairs two bedrooms and two bathrooms were beautifully presented. Beds comfy. A lovely little sitting room upstairs was perfect to relax. Lovely views of farms from windows. Quiet peaceful Dinner at the pub was delicious and staff friendly and helpful. Loved to have stayed longer

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Lune Cottage nestled between Lake District and Yorkshire Dales is situated in Tebay. Ideal location, just off the motorway but with access to the village, a really lovely cottage with all facilities, very comfortable and cosy and will definitely stay again
