The mountains are on your doorstep and lots of places to visit within a reasonable drive. The chalet is very homely and beds are comfy. Shower hot and powerful enough for my thick long hair!

The kitchen is equipped with everything, it even had some cooking oil and salt/pepper, which is nice, when you cannot carry any kitchen stuff with you. The environment is quiet and relaxing.

Chalet Adele ligger i Grindelwald, 38 km från Giessbachfallen, 1,9 km från First och 14 km från Eiger, och erbjuder boende med en balkong och gratis WiFi. This was a three bedroom, two bathroom attached house. The location was excellent: an unobstructed view from the back windows and porch onto Eiger and the rest of the massif; the cable lifts to Eiger and Mannlichen are a short walk away, and one can start hiking straight out of the front door. The house is relatively low on the mountainside, but that was excellent for us as hikers. The place is quiet because the bedrooms and the kitchen/living area are on the lower floor and face the lovely back terrace and backyard, only the bathrooms face the street. The address is easy to find. Everything was clean and relatively well-equipped. When we needed something, the owner sent over someone to supply it. Communication with the owner was excellent. We had a wonderful time and would definitely go there again.
