Great stay! The room was large, the bathroom (although shared) was clean and newly renovated.

Best stay of our entire vacation visiting Spain and Portugal! Impeccable property - clean, comfortable and modern design- with friendly staff who go above and beyond! Thank you Miguel and Stacy for making our brief stay extra special. We definitely hope to come back for a longer stay next time. We also enjoyed the breakfast - the avocado toast was so fresh and delicious, as was the fruit smoothies! Also location was a short taxi ride from the airport and then within walking distance of attractions, although recommend a tour around the island to see more of the natural sites.

This home was spectacular. Everything a family could dream for!! The view was magnificent, the house plan was so efficiently layed out and space for the family was more than adequate. It was very well equipped. Lots of bathrooms. The pool was a hit with everyone as well as all the outdoor space and games. The needs were the most comfortable beds we had on our entire trip. The house was kept cool with air conditioning.
Happy House is located in Ponta Delgada, just 8 miles from Pico do Carvao and 15 miles from Sete Cidades Lagoon.

The location is right in the center of Ponta Delgada. The apartment is spacious, well decorated, with a functional kitchen, a large balcony, 1 1/2 bathrooms, a washer & dryer, and a comfortable bedroom and living room. The owners are amazing and very helpful.

The property host is the most lovely person you will meet in the island! She really cares and takes care of the property and was extremely attentive to all of our questions and needs. The house was lovely and quaint and the garden was spectacular, especially if you love hammocks. There are plenty of rooms with privacy for each. The kitchen has everything you need. The location was super convenient if you have a rental car. We loved staying here and we felt like it was prefect place to experience the vibe of the island.

The space itself was a beautiful studio with huge windows that opened to a little garden. It had a small kitchenette that was fully equipped for meal prep. The host was incredibly kind and had some home made jam and treats for us when we arrived. We had the breakfast in the morning which was wonderful. It consisted of fruits, pancakes, eggs, cheese, yogurts, pastries and more. The host was very kind, she answered all of our questions, made wonderful suggestions for restaurants and gave us some history of the location and the grounds. The studio itself was very clean, stylish, and quiet. I would recommend this establishment for anyone wanting stay on this side of the Sao Miguel.
Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
This is a beautiful spot! The cottage is perfect, the grounds are gorgeous, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Nearby is a restaurant/bakery that serves amazing food and also a mini market. The town church/center, ocean, and bus stops are all a short walk away too.
Our room was so nice and cosy. We much enjoyed our stay in this place. The garden invites to relax. And the Quinta Physalis is guarded by angels on 4 paws, that is so cute!
Sorry we couldn't say Good-Bye, but we had to leave early for our flights.
We were travelling as a group of 5 people. There was fully equiped kitchen, it was okay to cook in for a few days. The toiletries were there also, towels. Nice electric fireplace, which came in handy, as we stayed there in January and it got cold during evening.
The pool and view are stunning. The property hugs some cliffs, and there is a path for a nice sea side walk with beautiful views of the cliffs and seaside. It has all the main things you would need: pool, sauna, spa, gym, restaurant, even a playground. Everyone working there was friendly and professional!
Great location for a great hotel. Breakfast was lovely: plenty of good food to choose from and the ability to sit outside was a bonus.
Indoor pool, with sauna and steam room were great to chill in on a rainy day too.
Everything in the hotel was fine. Location in the country. Diverse and tasty breakfast with local products. Coffee was great too. Hotel staff was always nice, helpful and acting in a professional manner. Special appreciation for the housekeeping staff. They deserved a score of 11 points out of 10. Cosy and quiet room. Comfy bed. Large parking lot. Nice view of the Ocean. Pool area. We'd come back anytime.
The outside pool was great, the hotel was clean and housekeeping did a great job in the room every day. Most of the staff throughout the stay was kind. There was a lot of variety of breakfast items. There was a nice sauna. The bed was extremely comfortable. I got a lot of information I asked for before our arrival including restaurants on the island and availability of lunch boxes upon request which helped plan the daily meals.
