Staff was extremely nice! The room was large and clean. There are 2 bikes you can borrow for free (not in good shape but they do the job). We could also let our luggage during the last day and access a shower before taking the sleeping bus :)

The city itself has a lot to offer – great food, good bars and a bustling nightlife. The location means day trips to surrounding locations are easily done and between the Imperial City and the tombs, there is plenty of interesting and historical sights without doing too much travel. There are a number of cooking classes on offer (we did Madame Thu's) as well as plenty of other activities. It's easy to walk around and the busier bar / restaurant area is pedestrianised at night on the weekends making it a very pleasant night out. If you're into your craft beer, there's a bar called Imperial Craft Bia Brewpub which does excellent beer. They're a little away from the (tourist?) centre, but definitely worth the walk.

Hue is great for a couple of day . Downtown is extremely touristy. But where isn’t in Vietnam now. Hire a bike and peddle to the sights. Passing villages.
The chum boutique hotel makes a perfect stay. Loved it there .

A beautiful city with clean walking spaces, awesome historical sites and numerous restaurants. Hue is the perfect getaway- it is a compact city, which is generally very quiet, and clean and has vast amounts of walking spaces, especially next to the lovely Perfume River.
However, it is the Imperial Citadel, which really makes the place and we appreciated the opportunity of wondering through this great space with a really informative guide.
We will return in Summer and tour more of the surroundings.

I only had a short stay. 2 nights, but arrived late and...
I only had a short stay. 2 nights, but arrived late and left early. A very pretty city with a strong military history. I would have liked another couple of days to look around some more at the garden along the Perfume River and walking streets in the evening.
The only downside is the constant street sellers that do not leave you alone and follow you everywhere. Even into restaurants and bars.

Pilgrimage was located out of the main town centre of Hue they provided buses to and from. Pilgrimage is a beautiful place to stay from the hustle of city, very tranquil and relaxing. The restaurant food is excellent.

Hue is a beautiful city and having only 1 day there was not enough. It was nice to get away from the busy cities and find one that is so orderly and calm - even respecting traffic lights & crossings! Walking was easy to get around the sights or getting a taxi
The property really does match its name - it surely is a palace! it is stunning! The rooms are very spacious and beautiful- the staff are so attentive to your needs . Alice was amazing! After meeting us at breakfast the first day - on the second day without even asking she brought us the ice coffee exactly how we like it! The pool is beautiful and big! All areas of the hotel

One of the best hotels we've stayed in, during over 2 months in South East Asia. The staff were very attentive, best customer service we have experienced yet. The rooms were beautifully designed, fresh fruit platters daily and the room cleaned to a very high standard. Super comfortable bed and a nice treat to have cable tv to watch on a rainy day in Hue. Definitely worth the money, felt like a 5 star hotel.
