We had an interconnecting family room which was a good size. The decor was really nice with a huge window overlooking the river. The bed was really comfortable & the air con was quiet.
Breakfast had a good selection of Vietnamese & western food with fruit, cereal, pastries, toast, omelet station, noodles, soups etc.
The location was central to both the Citadel area (15-20 min walk) and restaurants (10-15 min walk).

The staff were lovely. The location was good. It was lovely and clean with nice touches and branding. I liked the fact that they were trying to be be environmentally aware. I also liked the way they said welcome home when we arrived back. It was super cheap so therefore very good value for the price.

A beautiful city with clean walking spaces, awesome historical sites and numerous restaurants. Hue is the perfect getaway- it is a compact city, which is generally very quiet, and clean and has vast amounts of walking spaces, especially next to the lovely Perfume River.
However, it is the Imperial Citadel, which really makes the place and we appreciated the opportunity of wondering through this great space with a really informative guide.
We will return in Summer and tour more of the surroundings.

The remains of the imperial palace and especially the tombs were very beautiful, though a day or two is enough to see the main ones. Getting around by Grab was pretty easy, which is good as the sights are quite far apart.

I only had a short stay. 2 nights, but arrived late and left early. A very pretty city with a strong military history. I would have liked another couple of days to look around some more at the garden along the Perfume River and walking streets in the evening.
The only downside is the constant street sellers that do not leave you alone and follow you everywhere. Even into restaurants and bars.

Pilgrimage was located out of the main town centre of Hue they provided buses to and from. Pilgrimage is a beautiful place to stay from the hustle of city, very tranquil and relaxing. The restaurant food is excellent.

Hue is a beautiful city and having only 1 day there was not enough. It was nice to get away from the busy cities and find one that is so orderly and calm - even respecting traffic lights & crossings! Walking was easy to get around the sights or getting a taxi

Hue is the ancient capital, you can see that going around and looking along the river the houses and how the architecture is. The walking street is more for a young public who want to party. There are a huge choice of food in the city, up to you to discover!
This lovely little hotel is located in central Hue old town down a very narrow laneway, which makes it quiet but a bit more difficult to access, especially for taxis and tour bus. Staff were lovely and welcoming with David a standout, helping us with a local tour (temples, pagoda, Imperial City/Citadel) and bus to Hoi An. Breakfast was great with wide range of choices. Tip for best place for dinner is Maison Trang - another even narrower lane a short walk away.
Jade Scene is an excellent hotel in Hue. It is very centrally located and has very nice staff. The ladies at the reception are very helpful and arranged everything for us. Also the driver they arranged for us to Hoi An, Peter Quang, gave us a nice excursion and told us a lot about the area and about Vietnam. He was also a very good, calm driver. The rooms in Jade scene are fine and fully met with our expectations. The pool was lovely and the breakfast fine.
This was our favourite hotel during our travels through Vietnam. Highlights were the friendly and helpful staff, the clean and comfortable room, the good location for exploring the many sights of Hue, and the pool area - a great space for relaxing and cooling off and, if you are so inclined, enjoying a beverage from the bar. We’d definitely recommend a stay at the ÊMM Hotel Hue.
We only spent one night in this amazing hotel. It is an incredibly luxury hotel at a very valuable price. We wish, we could enjoy more the facilities of the hotel, the beautiful, comfortable, big room with stunning view over the city. An adress to keep in mind when coming back to Hué.
The service from reception and the breakfast team was the best we have had in Vietnam. Not to say recent hotels have been poor in fact we have not had a bad stay in Vietnam but hue nino was just one extra step above.
