loved the vibes of the town first of all.. everyone felt like a neighbor so warm and welcoming! We loved the Bistro Tapas place ..went there three nights. Waves for breakfast was wonderful and we found a little hot dog place a bit off the beaten path that we really enjoyed. A few of our group members took the Captain's Whale Watch....no whales so they were given a free return pass. There was a wonderful courtyard that we spent some time at meeting people...too bad we couldn't bring our beers out there. We wanted to rent the e-bikes to see the town and our of the way places and we had hoped to rent a kayak but time just was way to short. one shop we absolutely loved was something called Mungbean? A must see !!! And of course the Botanical Gardens. How awesome was that!!!

    I have been here before.

I have been here before. There is so much you can see and do around the area. Across the footbridge there are multiple shops and restaurants. Also within a short drive are the botanical gardens and a small aquarium.

Boothbay Harbor is a wonderful place to stay, enjoy the harbor, and eat some fantastic seafood. The town is fairly walkable with close proximity to shopping, restaurants, harbor tours and views. It's a great area to see a little of what the Maine coastline has to offer. Not to be missed is the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in nearby Boothbay.

I've been going to Boothbay Harbor for years and I love it. The coastline is beautiful and there are no crowds like south and north of there. And there us enough to keep you busy, especially if you like art galleries!

The king superior room is anything but superior, the only thing king was the bed, no continental breakfast even though it is on the room map at the front desk, Wi-Fi is intermittent, the lounge/restaurant is closed 2 nights a week, parking is inadequate for the number of rooms, your parking 2 lots away from the building it you don't get a spot early, bathroom is undersized for a large person. The building itself is dated and in need of upgrades and cleaning, mold was growing on our balcony. In my opinion the room was extremely overpriced for what you receive.

The hotel was quiet. Check-in desk attendant was friendly and welcoming. The continental breakfast was very good and plentiful, and the staff member preparing the breakfast was friendly and helpful. I liked the heated pool and hot tub outside the Flagship Inn. There are many services nearby - a restaurant, grocery store, gas station, and an ice cream shop to name a few. And it's only a few minutes by car to scenic Boothbay Harbor.

Hotel well located at the end of the point and it offers amazing views on the sunset (right in front of the hotel). Close enough go Boothbay Harbor at walking distance (35-40 minutes). Perfect if you travel with your dog... very dog friendly. Cocktail's price expensive.

The Hotel is perfectly located at the waterfront with a lovely view and it is very quiet: end of dead end road. The staff at the reception was extremely nice and welcoming.
