The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Even provided hot chocolate upon request. Very close to the train and staff was very helpful in helping us get a cab, fix a minor Air Conditioning issue and relocating us quickly to a new room when we couldn't get the elevator to work to go up to our floor. I must say the staff was amazing!

We were staying for one night to go to the Pompeii ruins the next day and I wouldn’t recommend to stay longer. The rooms seem to have been recently redone but there were no decorations and the bathroom wasn’t.

Our room was very comfortable, we were upgraded to a suite upon arrival. It had a roomy living room, and bedroom. Bathroom was very large and updated. Also a half bath off living room. It was very quiet all night which is important to us. The breakfast was only ok, large selection of breads and sweets but the cooked food was cold, not hot at all.
Staff were very pleasant.

Pompei is perfect for a 2 night stay if you are coming to see the Pompeii ruins.Lots of quick eateries. It would be VERY helpful to have a Tourist Bureau to ask questions about bus service, etc. People were friendly. We ate at Osteria,Nona Cherubini, about 1/2 mile from the Ruins. Wonderful food and service! Away from the crowds, lovely!

This was the most amazing place, I could not get over the vastness of the site. Tickets are very easy to purchase and I would recommend going early as there are many group tours taking over the space as the morning progresses. We didn’t have time to visit the volcano but would definitely return to explore this opportunity.

The main ancient site at Pompeii is extensive, but absolutely fascinating – well displayed and explained on site.
A highly memorable experience with very many highlights.
It would have been easier to manage our routes with a printed map, which wasn't obviously available at the entrance we used.
You need a full day to do it justice, and to have enough breaks. Bringing your own food is advisable as the single facility on site was very busy ...
Adjacent/nearby sites are also worth visiting, but booking admission tickets to these is quite complex to manage and doesn't cover all the sensible options for a shortish visit.

Pompeii is very vast takes alot longer than the recommended time of 3 hours ...to be honest we went to Herculean first thos is so much better not so restricted as Pompeii
Climb Mount Versus...well recommended even to take a selfie at the top...( you can't access the actual top ) but close enough to the crater ..

We booked a 2 hour tour of Pompei.
We booked a 2 hour tour of Pompei. My teens grumbled at first as they feel tours are slow but in a place like that, it's nice to get a sense of what you are looking at or what you should be looking for to appreciate it to the fullness. You could explore on your own afterwards but we felt the 2 hour tour covered a lot of ground and provided great information. I wish we would have known to explore Vesuvius as well. It's a smaller location but it was destroyed by lava instead of ash like at Pompei, so preservation was different.

Easy access to Pompei archaeological site with entrance a short distance. Easy access to train station where trips to Herculaneum and Sorrento could be done easily. Supermarket within a short walk. Eating facilities within easy reach.
This hotel is spotlessly clean. All rooms and public areas such as hallways were cleaned thoroughly daily. The hotel is of it's time yes, a little dated but brilliantly designed and built with very high quality materials. The pool area is fantastic, the design is just amazing, a real piece of quality architecture. Very good value for money and if your reason for being here is for Pompeii it's 5 minutes walk away, it would be ideal for say a two or three night stay if you want to give Pompeii and Herculaneum the attention they deserve.
We had very warm welcoming, even when we were too late. The hosts are very pleasant and helpful people.
The apartment looks better than the pictures in Booking, on a very quiet street, far from the tourist area.
Everything was very comfortable-with all that one can need-for us it was 5 star experience. We are very grateful to our hosts and would like to return in Pompei. Just perfect location- nearby center, archeological park and train station. If you plan to stay in Pompei we highly recommend Domus 47 .
Best property we stayed in on our trip to Italy. Clean, spacious, modern with a lovely roof terrace and huge shower. Had a delicious breakfast from the cafe downstairs (also the best of the trip). Also they accommodated a 4th person in our room at the last minute. It was only 3-4 mins walk from the ruins
Was made so welcome from the first minute. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. If we are back in Pompei we would definitely be staying at Hotel Palma.
