The hotel's atmosphere is magnificent!!! The scent of lemon coming from the incredible garden, the restaurant with DELICIOUS dishes prepared with the utmost care, the extremely friendly and polite staff, the Wi-Fi signal, the comfort of the bed, the temperature, the shower, the careful lighting, the spectacular and comfortable bed linen, in every little detail EVERYTHING was WONDERFUL!!!
I intend to return to Pompeii because of the experience I had at the hotel. I traveled with my 12-year-old son.

Give yourself at least two days for the site itself, one day for Heracleon, and one for the museum in Naples. Use Pompeii as a base. To see the museum in Naples, take the metro line to Piazza Cavour -5 minute walk througha garden to the museum. You might want two days for the museum too. Pro tip: ask the security people questions. They know tons of trivia and are not there just to yell at idiots. One gave us the most detail lecture -- better than any tour guide ever gave us. He told us to ask the other guards questions.

The ruins of old Pompei are very interesting.
The ruins of old Pompei are very interesting. We visited there off season, so weather was nice and not too many people in the area. near the entrance there's a nice shopping street with restaurants, ice cream, souvenirs and so, and also a very beautiful church. There's a beautiful church - Santuario della Beata Vergine Maria del Santo Rosario di Pompei .
If you intend to visit mt. Vesuv - check there are no clouds, since sometimes it is so cloudy and foggy that you can't see anything. Buy tickets in advance in order to assure the visit in the desirable time.

Pompeii ruins are amazing and a must-see.
Pompeii ruins are amazing and a must-see. The local area is also a great place to make your home base to explore the region. It’s quiet yet has several good restaurants within a small area. I never felt unsafe walking the streets at night, which I can’t say was the case when I stayed in Naples. Trains are cheap and easy to use - just check the schedule via Google Maps ahead of time as they aren’t as frequent as you may like.

We had a guided 2hr tour 1st which was ok then decided to walk round ourselves, after about another 2 hrs it does get a bit repetitive. No info board's anywhere which pushes you to have an audio tour.
We should have booked a tour with an archaeologist as we did at Herculaneum and told us a lot more info and made it more interesting.

Bad points,
it can be very busy.
Bad points,
it can be very busy. Choose your day, time and route around the site very carefully
The "tourist shops" outside are a scam, just buy a book before you go or when you arrive or a £7 audio guide on a app on your phone. Otherwise they pretend they are giving you a free map and then push a 18 euro audio per person to you. AVOID.
Good points,
an amazing place so many things to see and do, I don't even know where to begin, its a bucket list for sure. Its a must see place.

Very clean and modern. One of the best stays i have ever been in italy. Also the people there are really nice and always make sure if everything is fine. Also the breakfest was really good. They even ask if u want some specific to eat the day before. All in all a great experience. We got by train here and eveything is so close. Pompei Ruins and the B&B are easy to walk to.
Owner provided amenities and food items with the room and very generous. Her and the husband owner allowed me to check out late and held my bags for me at the train station as they own the restaurant at the station. Very nice couple with great amenities and clean comfortable room. Best stay in Italy.
Very clean, very close to center, important points, the breakfast was various, eggs, coffe, butter, honey, croissants, cereals, milk, and more ( i wrote all this, because is more than just coffee and something sweet, like in many other places in Italy). The host is present, and helpful!💪💪
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Forum. Great location, lovely room. The beautiful garden was perfect for gathering and enjoying a delicious dinner. Breakfast was excellent also.
We very much enjoyed our stay in Pompei and highly recommend Hotel Forum.
The breakfast was the best of all the hotel I stayed during my Italy trip! Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Room is nice and clean. Very good location.
