Stefano, the owner was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very comfortable with extras like a safe and fridge, complete with complimentary water. The breakfast was enjoyable, with options to sit inside or on the terrace. The pool was very clean. The hotel was handy to the supermarket and not far from the lake or old town. Great to have flyscreens.

The location is remote and private. The staff are welcoming, accomodating and happy to chat. The rooms are modern, clean with excellent A/C (try to book a room with a balcony). The beds are comfortable and there is complimentary water in the mini-bar. We stayed 3 nights and wish it could have been more..I recommend more than 1 night to take advantage of the location. There is an east facing private beach with sun beds and umbrellas. The breakfast is very impressive, with lots of choice and unlimited coffee. The restaurant does excellent ravioli, chianina and pasta with chingiale with a lovely wine list.
Hotel Aganoor is in Castiglione del Lago historic centre, overlooking Lake Trasimeno and walking distance of the town’s castle. It offers a restaurant, and a terrace with panoramic lake views.

The hotel is in a good position for visiting Castiglione and the surrounding area. The atmosphere was very relaxed. There is a nice pool area to relax in the sunshine.

Clean and convenient location, nice host and great views. Many great restaurants and places to wander- small town but lovely and quaint. I would not have wanted to stay longer than we did but glad we went. I think this place was good value for the secure and clean location.

No traffic inside the central (ancient) parts of town, so to stroll along the tiny streets is just very relaxing.

The property was newly decorated, very clean and had everything we needed for a short comfortable stay . The town of Castiglione del Lago is lovely, a must see and this accommodation provides well priced access to the town as it is only a short drive away.
Very easy check-in, it’s a comfortable, nicely decorated house. It is very complete, so if you like to cook, nothing will hold you back. Close to Lago Trasimeno and nice little villages. We had a nice stay and would definitely come back.
The Pool and proximity to the train station, lake qnd town centre all huge positives. The food in the hotel was excellent. Cracking place to visit, lovely town. Caught a bit of opera there too in the town hall. Great place.
The welcome, the views - of Castiglione del Lago in the distance, but also the fields from the large terrace. The infinity pool at sunset was amazing.
