Very welcoming staff, the wonderful lady on reception knocked on our door to alert us when the aurora came out at night and everyone was standing in the dark, windy fields by the hotel, hushed, looking at the northern lights. Also, as we had to leave early for the airport and had to miss breakfast, the hotel packed us sandwiches, fruit and juice to take with us, for which we were very grateful.

We booked the apartments after a week in a Campervan and it couldn’t have been more perfect for a final night in Iceland!
The interior is SO stylish and everything is thought of, from the spices in the kitchen to extra toiletries in the bathroom!
Watching the snow come down whilst sat in the hot tub was the icing on the cake.
Complete with a terrace, Hunters little house is set in Gardur, 30 km from Blue Lagoon and 47 km from Keilir Golf Club.

Gardur is a convenient location close to the airport. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, The access was easy with no stairs for brining in luggage. I liked the small town and visiting the lighthouses nearby. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

The Bay View apartment is a very special place, a big apartment with great style at the sea side. Unforgettable is the sight from the hot tub to the bay, but also the living room and kitchen are simply extraordinary. Gardur is a great base to visit the Reykjanes peninsula and as location nearby the airport. We loved it- and would like to come back!

Dark enough to see the northern lights right outside the hotel. Breakfast was nice and the staff thoughtful to prepare packed sandwiches on the day we checked out early for our flight
