The room was truly exceptional! Completely remodeled, but keeping the hunting lodge vibe and history. The bed was amazing! Loved the antiques. Pauline was so gracious and friendly! Breakfast was out of this world delicious!!!

It’s a lovely older home that will take you back in time. The view of Loch Tay is wonderful. The owners were lovely and you are truly renting a home.

The warm clean and bright feel of the room when we walked in. We liked the nice big comfy bed, and the bathroom was a good size.

A lovely unique experience. Felt immediately welcomed into Melanie's home. Having a leisurely breakfast chatting around the kitchen table whilst Melanie prepared a gorgeous breakfast was a great finish to what had been a perfect week exploring some of Scotland.
The house is just stunning and being made to feel really part of it rather than just another guest was really special.

Everything! From the family owned and operated aspect, to the over the top exceptional service from all staff to the incredible cuisine and the bliss of admiring the working farm on site; everything was perfect, comfortable and gorgeous.
Lovely village in a great setting. There are just enough shops to meet the traveller’s needs. The walks out of the village are a great variety abd beautiful and more adventurous walks are close by. A great centre for a few days walking.

Great location, great staff.
Great location, great staff.
Loved the evening meal and the outside bar area by the river.
Unfortunately the breakfast was disappointing. The lack of muesli and granola and fresh fruit was disappointing. The cooked breakfast was ok but not very hot.
The showers were old, and very very small.
The single room had no window and was hot and claustrophobic.
We paid 225 for two rooms and this is well above the average for bed and breakfast. Not really good value for money.

I have driven through Killin many times and it always seems such a wonderful place. However, on reflection, I have driven through at the weekend where it has been quite busy and there has been a hustle and bustle about the place. My stay this time was a weekday and after a day walking the hills by the time I went out for food and drinks the place was quiet. Therefore, it would depend on what you want from the visit, but I personally would’ve wanted a few more people around.

Pleasant small town in a wonderful setting by Loch Tay and high hills. A feature is the waterfall at Falls of Dochart. The nearby Dochart Inn serves excellent meals. Shutters was an excellent coffee shop. Everyday shops and an outdoor shop for hillwalkers and campers. Some attractive caravan sites nearby. Adequate free parking in the town. A good centre for exploring the surrounding area.

Killin is a lovely riverside village with the famed Falls of Dochart, a regular feature on calendars. It is rural but gives easy road access to many areas of Scotland from Oban, Fort William, Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perthshire not to mention the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park

Has everything you need in a lovely small town.
Has everything you need in a lovely small town. Nice coffee shop, pub and a little gift shop by the Falls, which were impressive. As well as practical little supermarket and a nice playground for the kids.
A Comfortable small hotel situated in a handsome Victorian villa in the centre of Killin. Cosy well equipped rooms with decent facilities. There is a pleasant Bar downstairs alongside a busy Bistro (fully booked on a saturday night). The Breakfast was good, with a range of options alongside the usual traditional fry up.
This hotel is v handy just off the main road from lochernhead to tyndrum. V friendly and helpful staff . Room was a good size and bed v comfy. Clean. We slept well. Breakfast was lovely . Ate in the bar/restaurant in the evening of arrival. Menu is mainly sharing cold platters but v tasty and well priced.
The location of Tayview is very central in Killin, and suited our needs perfectly. The house is large with good sized bedrooms and living rooms, and everything is very well laid out and thought through. We had everything we needed for our week's stay, and were delighted with the property.
Staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. The man on reception was especially helpful. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was really good and would definitely recommend that. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and cooked breakfast to order.
Great wee hotel. We stopped off here for the night on our way to Oban to catch the ferry to Barra. Our room was clean and bed was comfortable. The owners were lovely. Breakfast included - all in all, great value.
