It was cheapish... and all the things wrong would take them 5 minute of work and 10 minutes of care.
You will survive. It just could be lots better.

A triumph of artistic form, food and location! Stuated in the old part of town, next to the cathedral and lovely cafes and restaurants. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff everywhere. As a solo traveller, I did not feel awkward or disregarded. Great art pieces and unusual installations in the place, very photographable. The breakfast is splendid and plentiful- and I would reommend a red wine from the Haute-Languedoc region, curated by the knowlegable maitre d'- and it is noticeable that all the dining staff seemd to take a genuine pride in the regional deliciacies available. The view from the restaurant terrace over Bezier is second to none. Would heartily recommend- a good "Accueil" awaits al!

We were just passing by and were curious about the town as we had read some good reviews. The area around the cathedral is nice with lovely views of the surrounding countryside but a part from that there was nothing else that caught our attention. We were surprised by the presence of people just wandering around (drunk or else) and this is more noticeable in a small town like Beziers. Unfortunately it did not meet our expectations.

We enjoyed our one night stay in Beziers .
We enjoyed our one night stay in Beziers . It’s really lovely around the cathedral next to the hotel where we stayed with great views over the area and beyond . Eating out is a pleasure as there are many restaurants to choose from . If busy it’s best to book . We enjoyed walking around the town looking at the Trompe L’oiel on the walls . There is a trail to follow but we didn’t have time . We would have liked to have visited the canal locks nearby too . Unless there are events on , it’s not the most exciting town but we really enjoyed it and if visiting again would stay 3-6 nights using the town as a base to explore other areas /towns nearby .

The centre of town was just a few minutes walk away, through a noisy underpass. Beziers was charming, the people friendly and the food good. Railway and bus connections were easy. The central boulevard and Plateau des Poets ideal for a pleasant stroll. Canal du Midi a bonus!

Enjoyed visiting the Cathedral and the old town.
Enjoyed visiting the Cathedral and the old town. Also visited Les 9 Ecluses de Fonseranes and Tunnel du Malpas (Canal du Midi), and Oppidum d'Enserune (a 2,500 year old celtic settlement). Also drove to the nearby coastal towns but were disappointed that there was not more activity for the time of year (early/mid September).
Beziers is a beautiful and historic provincial French town. The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the railway station on a charming tree-lined avenue in the centre of the town. There are lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity and many little traffic-free side streets to explore. The hotel is clean, modern and very welcoming.
Excellent location at a very good price. This isn't a luxury apartment, and it's not new and sparkling. But it is comfortable, well equipped, and everything is in good working order. Plenty of hot water in the bathroom. We would stay here again.
Nice, pleasant boutique hotel. Friendly staff. Good sized room. Clean. Excellent continental breakfast that you could have indoors or outside on a nice terrace,
