Excellent location, in a very beautiful place in the forest. Nice and clean rooms and good atmosphere in the living room. Easy check in and useful communication. We found it in a good price, fully recommended.

The hotel has lovely views on the Brienzer Lake. At first sight the hotel-interior has this typical 'Switzerland'-vibe with wooden furniture and handpainted cupboards. The outside sitting-area however is a little boring, just plain tables, plastic chairs and a big contrast with the interior areas. No flowers, no candles, no lights on the tables. We booked this hotel through a platform and were a little sceptical about the description in the advertisement: 'shared bathroom'. In other European countries we associate this with hostels and campings, but not with a hotel. The bedroom was fine, overlooking the backside of the hotel with small trainstation; the two beds and pillows were excellent. The breakfast is fine with a good choice of products and the restaurant offers delicious and well prepared dishes.
There are plenty of outdoor activities in this beautiful Swiss region (Brienz, Lauterbrunnen, Staubach, Trümmelbach).
Another positif aspect: free parking for hotel guests.
A HUGE thank you to the 2 young ladies/staff-members who helped us with getting our breakfast and prepared a coffee for us on the very early morning we left the hotel! Their kind help and lovely smiles absolutely were a nice goodbye.

Room had a great view, it was clean. Location was convenient and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. Staff allowed us to use their fridge as we didn't have a fridge in our room.

Absolutely fantastic location with a wonderful outlook from the balcony. Perched in the mountains so to speak it was a beautiful location.

Hosts were more than helpful and the location / restaurant etc. was great. Good choice of menu and would return again! We booked last minute and couldn't fault the owners. Great family run atmosphere and made to feel very welcome. Owner went out of his way to help us. We really enjoyed the local lake for morning swim. Thank you for everything!

Actually the place is nice but the housekeeping is terrible. We stayed for 3 nights and they never actually change our towels and the worst is they never clean the room although we had the sign that needs cleaning.
We have to call their attention every night .
Our vacations ruin everything whenever we come back to the hotel as we are disappointed of the situation..
We had a great day but it destroyed our aura as we return..

food and drinks were good too.
we would stay longer next time so we can rent a boat for the day and take it all in even more.
i can highly recommend hotel&restaurant Kaiserstuhl to book your stay or even get a refreshing drink and amazing local food made to perfection.
you can drive around with your car, come by train or bus. there is so much to see, cute little village,water fall,lake,big church, camps and swissalp scenery

Perfect place to enjoy nature, take good pictures of the snowed mountains and the pretty lake.
The stay may be combined with visits to Lucern and lake of Brienz which are not far away.
