The staff were friendly and made a special effort to see that we were well taken care of. It was remote. The design was exceptional and the Glamping was world class.

Set on the banks of the Tugela River, 22 km north of Winterton, Tugela River Lodge features self-catering accommodation 13 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve and 22 km from Winterton Museum. Everything is made with so much passion and love. Couldn’t be better. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The lodge is situated very nice and surrounded by a beautiful environment. I will definitely come again.

Offering massage services, a garden and free WiFi, Otters Den is a recently renovated chalet 6.5 km from Fort Nottingham Museum and 30 km from Bosch Hoek Golf Club. Absolutely loved this magical place. Nice and quiet getaway, falling asleep with only the sound of the river. So much attention for details by the sweetest couple who run the place. Amazing view. Nice walk at the property along. the town close by felt very safe. We used this spot to travel to Drakensberg park, so after a day of hiking this was the perfect place to relax. One of our favorite spots in South Africa!

Riverbend Chalets (Gold Crown Resort) is set within the scenic Drakensberg Garden and boasts views of lush landscapes and the majestic Drakensberg Mountain Range. I love the fact that there is games inside the facility. And karaoke night was very entertaining and we very much enjoyed ourselves

Situated in Underberg in the KwaZulu-Natal region, Birches Cottage & the Willows Garden Room features accommodation with free private parking. We absolutely loved the walks on the property - beautifully thought-out and clearly sign-posted. Paths are so well maintained and points of interest kept up engaged and looking forward to exploring even more.

Offering a garden and garden view, J&B Lodge is set in Underberg, 8.2 km from Himeville Nature Reserve and 35 km from Coleford Nature Reserve. The apartment is clean and equipped with all the things needed to cook for ourselves. It was nice to have a barbecue in front of the lovely view. Barry went out of his way to accommodate all of our requests. He was cordial, kind and cooperative. Staying there is highly recommended
