I loved just sitting on my deck of my glamping tent and listen to the wind in the trees and the birds. Tents were very comfortable, good bed, beautiful bathroom and I woke up on a cold morning where I made a fire and took a warm bath, a relaxing place to be. Staff is very kind. There’s one gamedrive per day included where nature is beautiful, there are no elephants but this means beautiful trees. You can book a drive to see rock art of earlier people. Food is very good, creative with great combinations of tastes and spices. We were sad to leave.

The hosts were super nice and we were very warmly welcomed and they even waved us goodbye. Also the brought us complementary eggs for breakfast which were super tasty. The cottage is located in a little paradise in the mountains. We would definitely recommend to stay in Highbourne cottage!

Set on the banks of the Tugela River, 22 km north of Winterton, Tugela River Lodge features self-catering accommodation 13 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve and 22 km from Winterton Museum. Great for dog. Beautiful view. Kayaking was relaxing. Walk along river was pleasant.

Birches Cottage & the Willows Garden Room is situated on a gravel road, 5 km from the vilage of Underberg. The estate offers nature trails, riverside pools, picnic spots, decks and viewing areas. Lots of information provided before arrival and then when we got there.

J&B Lodge offers accommodation in Underberg, a 12-minute walk from Major Adventures and a 16-minute walk from Medical facility (Underberg). The property features mountain and garden views. it'S a lovely place: very quiet, clean, nice views, nice veranda, good wifi, owner contacts you via WhatsApp

Featuring a bar, Greenfire Drakensberg Lodge is located in Kruisfontein. The property is solar powered and offers Canadian-style log cabins. Beautiful location with stunning views and nice walking trails. The cabins were very cosy. At night it got quite cold, but there was a fireplace in the bedroom and the staff put warm water bottles in the beds. The meals were great and so were the staff and the dogs! We had a great time here, highly recommended!
