Boasting an infinity pool and views of pool, Sasi Africa Luxury Tented Bush Lodge is a recently renovated luxury tent set in Bergville, 34 km from Kaalvoet Vrou Statue. Beautiful lodge with stunning views out towards the mountains. We loved everything about the property from our wonderful private room, the delicious home cooked food served every day, the staff who were incredible, our bush breakfast and also the game drive we did.

Featuring a hot tub, AfriCamps at Gowan Valley is located in Balgowan. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. It was a great fun start to our road trip. The breakfast basket for two was enough to feed all three of us for dinner (sausages, bacon and eggs with toast) and breakfast (yoghurt, muesli etc)

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Highbourne Cottages is a recently renovated chalet situated in Winterton, 10 km from Monks Cowl Country Club. The location is amazing and the hosts are wonderful!

Set in Champagne Valley, 2.1 km from Monks Cowl Country Club, Ama Casa Cottages offers accommodation with an infinity pool, free private parking, an open-air bath and a garden. The location is superb with spectacular views across to the mountains. The property lacks nothing for the comfort of its guests and the staff are attentive and reliable. We found no negatives.

Set on the banks of the Tugela River, 22 km north of Winterton, Tugela River Lodge features self-catering accommodation 13 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve and 22 km from Winterton Museum. Great for dog. Beautiful view. Kayaking was relaxing. Walk along river was pleasant.

Otters Den offers accommodation in Nottingham Road. The accommodation features a spa bath. Flyfishing is 10 km from the property. Free private parking is available on site. Everything was absolutely wonderful! Will most definitely visit again.

Riverbend Chalets (Gold Crown Resort) is set within the scenic Drakensberg Garden and boasts views of lush landscapes and the majestic Drakensberg Mountain Range. Friendly staff , clean facilities and very quiet place.

Birches Cottage & the Willows Garden Room is situated on a gravel road, 5 km from the vilage of Underberg. The estate offers nature trails, riverside pools, picnic spots, decks and viewing areas. Lots of information provided before arrival and then when we got there.

J&B Lodge offers accommodation in Underberg, a 12-minute walk from Major Adventures and a 16-minute walk from Medical facility (Underberg). The property features mountain and garden views. The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped, even having a hair dryer, a rarity in South Africa! The setting, with sweeping views of the mountains, is spectacular, and the location is very convenient, just a short drive from restaurants in Underberg. Barry, our host, was warm, friendly, and very helpful!

Featuring a bar, Greenfire Drakensberg Lodge is located in Kruisfontein. The property is solar powered and offers Canadian-style log cabins. we love the location, the view from the lodge is beautiful. everything was above what we expected , nicely furnished, very clean, well maintained, very good fresh home made food, and very nice staff.
