The beds were very comfortable with high quality linen. The villa is close to Lotte Arai resort (about 5 minute drive) and the managers of the villa were extremely helpful in arranging transport for our group with a neighbour, who was charming and helpful. The manager also arranged dinner for us at a local restaurant which usually only offers lunch and this was a very special experience for us. The drying room was excellent for our ski gear. From the house are views of the surrounding rice fields and up to the mountains.

We had two families with 3 kids and i really cant fault our stay. The entire chalet is much bigger than expected, the kitchen and living areas are really functional, perfect after a long day on the mountain to relax with amazing views of the surrounding valley. There is a huge drying room for ski gear and ample storage throughout. On arrival we met the host who gave us a rundown on the chalet, Akakura town and surrounding areas. We rented a car from Nagano which I highly recommend as its easier to drive into the center of town with ski gear plus there are plenty of other good mountains in the area.

Lovely decor great food and a chilled vibe. Had the best night's sleep in the very comfortable bed. Transfers and pickups from the slopes were no problem. Really lovely property and team.
