The girl who checked us in was very friendly and had very clear explanations for everything! She really helped us when we were ill-prepared for the Jomon Sugi hike, which we appreciated a lot! There were complimentary welcome drinks and a dessert on the second day which were delicious. The cabin was clean with all the facilities you could need, plus there was a hose in the front yard for you to clean your hiking shoes. The morning view from the deck was also amazing! Note the accommodation is about 15 minutes drive south of Anbo, so it is a bit out of the way of the main attractions, but it wasn't a big deal as we enjoyed the peace.

A microwave and stovetop are also offered, as well as a kettle. I simply loved this place. The small house had everything we needed. A kitchen, large dining area, big bathing room. The was a terrance and the balcony with the view on the ocean. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were amazing. Really recommend although you need to rent a car to get there basically but I thing it's a standard if you want to see the island in general ;)

Yakusugi Land is 34 km from Cottage Yakusugi House, while Scuba Diving Ever Blue Yakushima is 1.4 km from the property. Yakushima Airport is 8 km away, and the property offers a free airport shuttle service. The owner helped us a lot with finding out how to get where! Also, the room was huge and absolutely enough for the three of us. Everything was clean and we had everything we could wish for.
