The hospitality was absolutely amazing, from activity recommendations to the little extras, we felt very welcome by everyone. We mixed eating out with cooking dinner in the room, enjoying sunsets on the deck. At night, the sky deck and outdoor bath also made for a perfect end to the evenings--talking, talking, talking while looking out at the ocean and the Milky Way.

El Cottage Morinokokage ofrece servicio de alquiler de casas de campo con hamaca. Hay WiFi gratuita en las habitaciones. It was super cute, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. it was located in a very calm area, accessible by bus with just a short walk from the bus stop. There were two restaurants in the area, one sushi restaurant a 15 min walk from the house and another one a bit further away. The staff, Mr Ryosaki Nakashima, helped us call and make a reservation at the sushi restaurant, which was lucky since it was almost full when we arrived. It was possible to wash your clothes for free at Cottage Morinokokage, and there were also some vending machines with food and drinks available. We also asked for breakfast (possible to book upon check-in) which was very nice and in-expensive.

星空に包まれる 森の隠れ家 Amrita Lodge ~stay & retreat~ ofrece terraza y wifi gratis, y está en el barrio de Kirishima-jingu Onsen, en Kirishima, a 12 km de Meseta de Ebino. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. Ideal location for exploring the Kirishima Mountains. Lovely host.

TIDA Resort Yakushima 旧 屋久島海の胡汀路てぃーだ está a 34 km de Yakusugi Land y ofrece terraza y restaurante, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, balcón y wifi gratis. Very friendly and welcoming. The cottages are well designed, the beds are extremely comfortable and the location is over looking the ocean. The family that own it are really attentive and we had the optional dinner one night which was incredible and cooked by the owner chef. Easy drive from the airport and to any of the amazing hike trail heads and onsens. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

Very good option as Cottage Kutsuroki are standalone bungalows so no noise issues at all. Extra convenience of car parked right at door, easy to load suitcases etc. Very good well stocked kitchen and finally, after days of thin futon beds, nice to have “normal” mattress beds to sleep on! Good heating. Nice shower and bath adequate. Very good location at Anbo
