Boasting a garden and views of river, Khaosok August Freedom Camp is a recently renovated campground situated in Khao Sok, 1.1 km from Khao Sok. This was my first camping experience in Thailand, and I loved it. I was a bit wary because the listing said "empty lot", but I got a big tent with a mat and blanket, as well as a towel, toilet paper, my own fan, and extension cord for charging my phone. The tents are on an elevated platform and sheltered from the elements. Breakfast was included in the price and consisted of fresh bananas and delicious local sweets. The location is really great because it's quiet and serene, but it takes 5 minutes to walk to the entrance to the national park and all the restaurants. You can book tours of the Khao Sok National Park directly from the host. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer.

Boasting a garden, Por Sampao Camp&Resort is situated in Ban Pha Saeng Lang in the Khao Sok Province region, 11 km from Cheow Lan Lake and 15 km from Klong Phanom National Park. The view is just incredible! The location is somehow remote, so I'd say it's better if you come by car, but it is definitely worth it! The room was clean and we had everything we needed.

Do yourself a favour if you're coming across this place and book it!! Chris & Aaron, the owners, are the loveliest people ever and saved our holiday. We booked this place last minute at 7pm in the evening as we had to leave our originally booked accommodation. We were a bit hesitant booking a place with only 4 reviews but it was the best decision! Chris picked us up within 30 minutes of booking. He sat with me in the back of the taxi so I wouldn't have to sit by myself while my husband took the scooter to the hotel. The place is beautifully decorated, the interior thoughtfully designed (lots of natural light & 2 full length mirrors, a dream!!). The entire property is beautiful with a pool and café where they serve breakfast. Cleanliness is 10/10. Breakfast is lovely, best coffee we've had! Love the German/continental touch on the breakfast as well. The home is situated in a quiet & calm area but close to the night market and busy streets. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

If you are looking for a place in the middle of nature, this is your spot. Beautiful garden and beautiful view! The staff is so helpful and so kind! They did everything to make us the most comfortable possible. They made us a New Year’s celebration, cooked dinner for us and showed us places around the island. I highly recommend going to this place!

The accommodation is set in a very peaceful location. Great way to reconnect with nature. The lady also took very good care of me when I fell ill - driving me into town to get supplies from the pharmacy and checking in on me. Food at the restaurant is delicious.
