A good location for a relaxing stay in Bidiyah, Milky Way Domes is a campground surrounded by views of the garden. We loved Milky Way Domes. We booked the cabin which was great and enjoyed sunrise in bed! Ahmed and the staff are excellent, we felt so well taken care of and were so sad that we only booked for one night! The little Veranda in front of the cabin is great too for chilling and reading a book. Definitely go dune bashing too! Ahmed takes you out during sunset to watch the sun set over the dunes! Couldn’t recommend more. And it’s also a great thrill. 10/10 recommend!

Exceptional stay in the desert bubbles! Staying in these beautifully decorated, pristine, and ultra-comfortable bubbles was a dream. The breathtaking view of the desert left us absolutely speechless. The meals were delicious, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming! A special shout-out to Ruben, who made our stay truly delightful with his kindness and professionalism. A heartfelt thank you to the owner, Said, whose unmatched generosity saved us when we got stuck in the desert with our 4x4—what an amazing person! We will definitely be back. A thousand shukran for this unforgettable experience!

Situated in Bidiyah, Moon Light Camp features accommodation with seating area. The campground has family rooms. We were reaally glad we booked Moon Light Camp! Easy transfer for 5 OMR one way, arranged a little in advance. Dinner was amazing and well worth the money. When we saw the location of most of the other camps-one next to the other..not really in the desert-you really want to stay at a place a little further away from it all like Moon Light Camp. Thanks for the great stay!!:)

A recently renovated campground, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Al Wāşil. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Staff on-site can arrange airport transfers. We stayed one night in this absolutely amazing place. It’s about a 35-minute drive from the main road, and the journey to the camp is already an incredible experience. We stayed in a tent, which was super comfortable and for me, felt like pure luxury—having light, water, and other amenities in the middle of the desert. The tent is spacious, offering more than enough room for two people. It wasn't to cold in the tent at night (december). The area is beautifully set up with a cozy chill-out tent and a dining space. The staff, a group of young Bangladeshi mens, were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They prepared a delicious dinner for us with grilled chicken, grilled camel meat, and several side dishes with rice—everything was absolutely flavorful. For breakfast, they cooked fresh Omani bread and a potato curry, which was tasty. In the evening, they organized a small campfire, which added a wonderful touch to the experience. The team does an excellent job and I hope they are well paid for their hard work! Additional activities like camel riding and more are available. This place is truly recommendable, and spending a night under the breathtaking desert stars is unforgettable.

A recently renovated campground, Silent Dunes Camp offers accommodation in Ḩawīyah. The property has mountain views. There is a restaurant serving Asian cuisine, and free private parking is available.... Excellent location! Value for money.

Located in Wahiba Sand in the North Eastern province, Wahiba Bedouin Rustic Camp offers eco-friendly accommodations. We are very happy that we selected this place to stay. The arrival was convenient, we parked our normal rental car at the base at the end of the asphalt road, enjoyed tea and dates and then took the 4WD car to move to the desert (for a reasonable fee). Already this journey was an interesting experience. The camp in the desert is very nice, it's not very large so you can enjoy the nature/sand near by. There are some dunes next to the camp. Most people go to towards the dunes to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. Breakfast is included and is very good. We also took the dinner and it's really good value. There are some free activities like local cloth, evening fire and goat milking. These activities will keep you busy during your stay. (If you plan to relax and enjoy some quiet time you should spend at least 2 nights.) Our family tent was big with many beds, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a private bathroom next to the tent. There's also some WiFi and mobile signal. There's light in the tent and electrical sockets in the main building. Free coffee/tea/water is a nice bonus.

Offering a terrace, Atana bidiyah private camp offers accommodation in Al Raka. The property has mountain views. Towels and bed linen are offered in the campground. A wonderful camp, a beautiful tent..everything was very wonderful. Thank you, Jassem, for the warm hospitality.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, mountain view and a balcony, Marbella bungalows desert private camp is located in Bidiyah. Such a peaceful time in the desert in a house that feels luxurious, comfortable and very clean. The hosts are incredibly kind and the views are amazing. It’s only 2 houses so if you’re looking for privacy and quiet time it’s much better than big camps!

Situated in Al Wāşil, Delight Desert Camp offers accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. It was the best place to stay on the desert. Charming, very kind and friendly people, great food. Private bathroom. Pristine. Wonderful dunes bashing with Quais. Amazing place.

AL hawiyah camp is situated in Ḩawīyah and has a heated pool and inner courtyard views. An amazing environment with amazing food. Mojhib and Sultan were helpful and hospitable. Superb authentic experience.
