Amazing location composed of cottages and domes on the highest dunes. Perfect to see both sunrise and sunset and to enjoy the desert experience. We tried both the cottage and the dome and we liked the dome much more. Nice restaurant with good selection of food both for dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff. Chance to make different types of activities - dune bashing at sunset much recommended!

Au delà de mes attentes, le séjour fut parfait. 👌 au milieu de nul part les dunes juste derrière nous. Said était un hôte D’une gentillesse indescriptible. Le dôme est très propre, la literie très très confortable ( c’était un peu ma crainte) superbement décoré. Chaque dôme possède un thème nous c’était Andalousie. Il y’a des snacks, des boissons, des fruits à disposition. Possible de faire des activités également. Peignoir, pantoufles et même transat pour vous détendre au soleil. ☀️ je recommande

We were reaally glad we booked Moon Light Camp! Easy transfer for 5 OMR one way, arranged a little in advance. Dinner was amazing and well worth the money. When we saw the location of most of the other camps-one next to the other..not really in the desert-you really want to stay at a place a little further away from it all like Moon Light Camp. Thanks for the great stay!!:)

It’s about a 35-minute drive from the main road, and the journey to the camp is already an incredible experience. We stayed in a tent, which was super comfortable and for me, felt like pure luxury—having light, water, and other amenities in the middle of the desert. The tent is spacious, offering more than enough room for two people. It wasn't to cold in the tent at night (december). The area is beautifully set up with a cozy chill-out tent and a dining space. The staff, a group of young Bangladeshi mens, were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They prepared a delicious dinner for us with grilled chicken, grilled camel meat, and several side dishes with rice—everything was absolutely flavorful. For breakfast, they cooked fresh Omani bread and a potato curry, which was tasty. In the evening, they organized a small campfire, which added a wonderful touch to the experience. The team does an excellent job and I hope they are well paid for their hard work! Additional activities like camel riding and more are available. This place is truly recommendable, and spending a night under the breathtaking desert stars is unforgettable.

A recently renovated campground, Silent Dunes Camp offers accommodation in Ḩawīyah. The property has mountain views. There is a restaurant serving Asian cuisine, and free private parking is available.... Being far away in the desert, the place had a special atmosphere and the accommodation was both practical and in harmony with the peacefulness of the nature. The cottage had everything we needed - including private bathroom, warm water and electiricty. The breakfast and supper prepared by the staff were delicious.

Une tente aménagée avec beaucoup goût et confortable. On a apprécié le petit salon d’extérieur privé mais surtout la tente commune où nous avons passé beaucoup de temps à deux ou accompagnés de notre hôte avec qui nous en avons appris plus sur Oman. Nous avons observé le coucher de soleil du haut d’une dune. Un moment hors du temps. Le petit déjeuner omanais excellent tout comme le cake servi pour nous accueillir et le dîner.
