Qunita de Sao Luiz is located high off the main road and has the most amazing view across the Duoro River & Valley. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed with everything you need on hand -they are extremely quiet and peaceful. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The breakfast exceeded our expectations with an excellent selection. All in all it was a fabulous stay and one night wasn't long enough.

Wow what a place to stay. The facility itself is impressive but the views even more impressive. The big challenge is getting there. A bit out of downtown Lamego and not easy to find even using Google maps. Missed the turn off three times - better signage would definitely help. Long winding road to get up to the facility so driving to get there late at night - need to be careful

Looks old from the outside, but really pretty on the inside! The staff was great, helped us with everything we needed and more! The town is just beautiful!!

Quinta Vilar e Almarde offers rustic-style accommodation in Castelo de Paiva. The family was amazing at the arrival. Amazing place to go and relax with the lovely view and pool area. I 100% recommend this place. Won’t hesitate to come back !

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Great hospitality, perfect wine and food. I would recommend it for my friends.

The staff were excellent- so friendly and helpful. The property itself is gorgeous. Our room was comfortable, clean and had a great view of the wine terrace! We loved having access to both an outdoor and indoor pool as well as the sauna, steam room and hot tub! We were there in mid May and often had the pool to ourselves. Breakfasts were delicious and our dinner at the restaurant was great too. Had a wonderful massage at the onsite spa. We HIGHLY recommend the private wine tasting at Quinta da Portela that staff coordinated for us - was magical!
