The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Ambleside Townhouse is a lovely accommodation. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. We had a spacious, quiet room with comfy beds and a nice view. Especially in the evenings, we were able to enjoy the sunset. The breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes and sourdough bread with scrambled eggs and salmon. We enjoyed fantastic hikes in the area.

With a picturesque location in Ambleside, Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa World Hotel Distinctive, BW Premier Collection features a modern spa and a brasserie. The staff made our visit just that little bit more special. Don't get me wrong the location was perfect, the facilities excellent and the food -especially the breakfast - was really nice but the staff excelled against any previous experience.
