The Crown Inn Pooley Bridge has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Pooley Bridge. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. Lovely property, we travelled with my elderly father and he had the accessibility room and slept really well in the main building and had no complaints. The staff were excellent, room lovely and clean, breakfast was a full English and eggs Benedict, both cooked perfectly.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Abbey Court Guest House is a guest house set in a historic building in Carlisle, 38 km from Askham Hall. I was warmly welcomed and felt completely at ease. The breakfast was excellent. I will definitely be back! Thank you very much!

Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.
