The views were stunning. The welcome drinks in the sitting room were an u expected bonus. Homemade fondue - delicious, served with bread and potatoes. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Arlette organised our Glacier 3000 ticket for a day when the weather was better. Phillipe & Arlette had plenty of suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The breakfast is great, fresh, homemade preserves, French toast, eggs, cereals, yoghurts, breads, cheese & meats.

Offering a spa centre and hot tub, the Château de Mathod is located in Mathod in the Vaud Region, 28 km from Lausanne. Free private parking is available on site. A wonderful place owned by nice people. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended.
