Even before I had my accident, where I broke my collarbone, this was a fabulous place to stay. A beautiful house and garden in a quiet neighbourhood. Near the railway station (not noisy.) Good Italian restaurant just 8 minute's walk. When I experienced an unfortunate accident, Gunther and his wife Maria drove 60 minutes up and down a local mountain to recover my bicycle and car. They also took me to the hospital and collected me afterward. For the next two days they looked after me as I needed - and even cooked me evening meals. Gunther and Maria are exceedingly kind people, and I was very lucky to choose this place to stay.

Host gave us good information for finding food and let us clean our messy bikes and clothes. Ftridge,micro and garden to enjoy eating outside were appreciated. We were there for 2 nights!

I've been to Romainmotiers several times in my life, but have never spent the night there. I'm so glad that I did on this trip. My room was "The Rose Room" - on the 2nd floor overlooking the town roofs and main street. It was in a historic building, light and airy, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully organized. It was a 3-room suite, with a separate bathroom, and entry hall. The bathtub was so cozy and relaxing. Dora, the owner, was so friendly and helpful, bringing me a picnic basket full of breakfast treats in the morning. I loved, loved, loved the whole experience of staying in this special, extraordinary place and will be back. Thank you to Dora!!
