Search boats in South Iceland

The hotel had just opened 4 days before we arrived. We were a little disappointed to hear that the hot tubs are still under construction and not ready for use, but to make it up to us the hotel offered a complimentary drink at the bar and complimentary breakfast. The staff, drinks and food were excellent! The beds were extremely comfortable. And the location being right near the lagoon for our early morning zodiac boat tour was perfect.

Close to the glacier boats, large shared room to sit and fluent self check-in.

Cosy room, free welcome cake, Icelandic Yogurt, milk and Juice in the kitchen! The location is about 15mins drive from Jökusarlon boat tour.

Great location seconds off the ring road - remote but still convenient, less than an hour’s drive from Glacier Lagoon (we did a glacier walk/ice cave the day before then went back for a boat trip the next morning before continuing east on the ring road). Spacious room felt brand new. Food in the evening very good and fast (only minor thing, room quite bright) and breakfast too. View over the glacier spectacular to wake up to.

The location was excellent for we were able to do the svartifoss and glacier hike the day before and the glacier boat and snowmobile the next day so our two nite stay from Vik was just right.

The location was good for accessing the glaciers for a walk/boat trip and the accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for our family of 5 and the sofa bed was comfortable.

Beautiful, brand new, large space, great for my family of 5. The beds were very comfortable and so was the living room where we watched a movie. The view of the boats and pier was unexpected and truly pleasant. Easy to make breakfast in the kitchen. (Just missing a toaster but we used oven).

Loved the location - close to Skaftafell , Jokulsarlon and many other hikes Staff were super helpful and pleasant - they helped select a boat trip into the glacier that was perfect for our family! Was glad to find clean rooms with facilities like fridge and Safe There were stunning views of the lava field and snow capped mountains from the room. Enjoyed the breakfast, evening drinks and dinner at the hotel bar and cafe.

Huge room for the 4 of us. 5 beds. Big as a basketball court. Very clean. Time floors. Top bedroom windows not covered so room was very bright all night. Wore a sleep mask. Shared bathroom was clean. Breakfast buffet was nice. Not really early enough to make the boat to Vestmannaeyjar.

This is a beautiful place with amazing views. We were a family with two girls aged 8 and 10. The girls slept on the sofa bed (comfortable and very easy to make up. Took only 1 minute ). The amenities were perfect and the place was nice and warm. Its about 30 minutes away from diamond beach, zodiac boat and even closer for a glacier walk. A fantastic 11/10 stay.
