Get out on the water (without ever leaving the dock!) on a commercial boat. Guests have access to a partial or entire boat, yacht or houseboat, which will remain docked throughout the stay. Meals and additional services may be available -- a nautical getaway awaits.
The owner came to meet us at the Marina HQ and explained us the facilities both on and off the boat. Of course the boat is very compact but we had enough spaces for us to spread out al of our belongings and hang out. We walked to an excellent restaurant near by - the Viana Aromatica. And there were several other options nearby.
What a great experience to spend an evening on deck in the harbour of Viano do Castelo. Our hosts did a fantastic job of welcoming us aboard and orientating us with the boat. We had a memorable stay just off the Camino for a very good price 👍
Unique experience of staying on a boat in the marina of a lovely town. Easy access to beaches. Made to feel very welcome by the hosts and good orientation to the boat given.
Friendly owner. Everything clean and comfortable! Location is a little for from centre. You can reach centre by boat trip or taxi. Backyard was occupied by owners dogs but they was quite firendly.
We stayed in 2 apartments as there were 7 of us. They were spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. They had everything you need for a couple of days. The 2 bed apartment looked out over the sea, and the famous Gil Eannes museum. They are located in the heart of the Old Town with restaurants, cafes and shops surrounding it. The ferry boat to the beach leaves from right across the road. We could definitely have stayed longer
Very Central. Perfect for anyone attending an event at the Centro Cultural.
Because it is so central it can be tricky to find parking, so we recommend the parking lot by the Gil Eanes Boat.
