Some highlights were: -There were thoughtful touches like bottled water and wine in the fridge as well as nice coffee pods. -The boat was much more spacious than I anticipated. -The rooftop deck was lovely to climb up on and drink wine at sunset. -It’s in a great location and was perfect for us walking the Camino -Our host was very gracious and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and things to see in town -The boat was immaculately clean and there were no signs of damp or anything like that We’d definitely stay here again!

The nearest airport is Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, 60 km from the boat. Staying on a boat is different from the outset, its not the standard hotel room that we are familiar with, This boat was immaculate and perfect for a stay of say two or three nights - I'm UK and we have an affinity with boats anyway so I could easily stay here longer. The level of comfort was exceptional it's not everywhere that you get air-conditioning in each cabin. The seating and facilities were fantastic, plenty of hot water for showers as well. Just to summarise - I would love to spend some more days on this boat. It's family run and they are all lovely and will only want you to enjoy your time on their boat.

We have traveled many places with different adventures and accommodations, sleeping in wagons out west in Zion, log cabins in grand canyon, camping by beach in cape cod, but havd never slept in a sailboat until now. I would not say it was the most comfortable way, but it was a wonderful experience. Loving traditional Portuguese breakfast and sailing around river made up the difference.
