Light of Zanzibar Hotel is located just a 2-5 minutes walk from the stunning Nungwi Beach (depending if you go through the town or straight to the beach). It has everything you might need, comfortable beds, hot water, mosquito nets and AC. There is a fridge outside your room which you share with the two other rooms on your floor to keep your water nice and cold. Paul and all the other staff are absolutely wonderful, kind and very helpful, just ask if you need anything, they will definitely do all they can to help you out. The served breakfast is always delicious, it varies a little every day so you never eat the same thing. Once we had to take our breakfast an hour early and everyone was so nice that we left with satisfied stomachs. If were ever back to Zanzibar, we’ll stay here again!

A few steps from Jambiani Beach, Olamanga Beach Villa Adults Only is a recently renovated property situated in Jambiani and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and parking on-site. I love everything about the property, very close to the village where you can find supermarket, restaurants, and any other kind of tour that I was looking for. 1min walking to the beach , not packed beach and with very chilled vibes, perfect for couples and families. The rooms are beautiful and comfortables, details oriented. Pool just for us anytime we wanted , and the fact that they don’t do the cleaning everyday for the climate impact we found it very ecological and nice, something that we appreciate.

Located in Paje, 200 metres from Paje Beach, Karibu House provides accommodation with a garden, free WiFi, a shared kitchen, and private check-in and check-out. I recently spent three nights at Karibu House, and if I had the chance to return, I would choose it again without hesitation. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and, more importantly, the atmosphere was truly exceptional. The unique charm of Karibu House is undoubtedly influenced by the fact that both managers are sisters. Their presence adds a special touch to the place, creating a welcoming and distinctive ambiance. Highly recommended!

Vi har hatt gleden av å bo på Chokoro House i tre netter, og oppholdet har vært helt fantastisk! Eierne og de ansatte er utrolig hyggelige og hjelpsomme, og de gjorde alt for at vi skulle føle oss velkommen. Vi fikk mange gode anbefalinger til aktiviteter og steder å besøke, som virkelig gjorde turen vår ekstra spesiell. Frokosten var også helt nydelig. Atmosfæren på Chokoro House er varm og innbydende, og vi følte oss hjemme fra første stund. Dette er et sted vi virkelig kan anbefale på det sterkeste til alle som ønsker et hyggelig og komfortabelt opphold. Vi gleder oss allerede til å komme tilbake!

Set within 600 metres of Royal Beach and 1.1 km of Nungwi Beach, Villa Kumi features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Nungwi. Villa Kirumi is great place to stay in Nungwi area! Location is not far from beach and restaurants. We stayed in Villa for a month and felt really like at home. Owner and all staff are super-friendly and very helpful! Food is good, it also possible to order meals by request, it was very tasty. We are very thankful for generator provision when there were electricity shortages sometimes. It was important for us as we needed to work remotely. We really liked this place and definetely will come back next time. Missing our friend - the dog Piero, he is very kind and nice. Thank everyone in Villa Kirumi for our comfortable staying, we are looking forward to get back!

Close to both Royal Beach and Nungwi Beach, HOMELAND SWAHILI LODGE Nungwi Backpacker Apartments BUDGET is situated in Nungwi and has a hot tub and garden. Yulia is an great host! You will need at least one hour to eat your AMAZING and huge breakfast. I had the best time and left several days later than planned because of how relaxing and chill the hostel was. It's clean and safe. It's a 10-15 min walk from the beach. There are nice local and touristic restaurants around. There are a couple shops and fruit stands near the property.

Situated 39 km from Peace Memorial Museum, La Base B&B offers a private beach area, an outdoor swimming pool and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Roberta the hotel manager was amazing. she is super nice and we had great conversations with her. the two dogs at the property were the cutest little creatures. very nice garden to chill and relax away from the very busy beach. it is a little oasis. rooms are very new, beautifully designed and the AC and internet are working great. the rooms are a short walk to the restaurant and the beach. the restaurant is beautiful and there are several sun beds to chill. overall the staff was very friendly.

Located in Nungwi, 600 metres from Royal Beach, Minah Bungalows provides accommodation with pool with a view, free private parking, free bikes and a garden. This hotel is only 10 minutes walk to the beach. A beautiful and clean pool, rooms are very large and breakfast is delicious. Very nice people. Thanks for everyone. A special thanks for Ms Merina.
