This place in Nungwi is truly exceptional. The highlight of my stay was the owner, Zuzana, and her wonderful team. Zuzana is an incredible host, meticulously attending to every detail from check-in to check-out. Her thoughtfulness shone through in the valuable recommendations she provided for restaurants, local attractions, and tours. She’s not only helpful but also genuinely lovely to interact with. I stayed in Room 2 for nine days, and it exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with everything I needed. Each room comes with its own outdoor seating area (or a balcony if you're upstairs), complete with a convenient clothesline for drying beachwear—a small detail that made a big difference. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe in the area, and the beach is just a quick 1-2 minute walk away. The breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh fruit, juice, eggs, local bread, tea, coffee, and even local porridge. It was always a great way to start the day and have a nice conversation with the staff. A special shout-out to Barack, who, like the rest of the staff, greeted me with a warm smile every day. One particularly memorable gesture was when I burned my arm and Zuzana generously provided medication and cream, even coming to my aid late at night. She also offered to change up the breakfast menu to keep things interesting, though I was more than happy with the daily spread. Lastly, Zuzana arranged for my airport pick-up with a fantastic driver named Salim, which made my arrival smooth and stress-free. In short, I can’t recommend this place enough—it's a hidden gem in Nungwi. I wish all the best to the team.

Olamanga Beach Villa er nýenduruppgerður gististaður í Jambiani, nokkrum skrefum frá Jambiani-ströndinni. Boðið er upp á loftkæld herbergi með ókeypis WiFi og bílastæði á staðnum. Nice and Cozy Place …. Highly recommended

The fact that we stayed for 2 extra nights says a lot. Rooms were big and clean and the hosts made us feel at home. After previous, more expensive accomodation, we were pleasently surprised as it is very budget friendly but also has everything we need. It is like in pictures plus very close to the beach. The owner was taking us to amazing places around. We would definitely come back.

Chokoro House er staðsett í Paje, í innan við 300 metra fjarlægð frá Paje-ströndinni og 18 km frá Jozani-skóginum. The place is amazing, the room is stylish, comfortable and well equipped. Very close to the beach, with free access to the beach through the hotel nearby. The breakfast was delicious.

Villa Kumi er staðsett í innan við 600 metra fjarlægð frá Royal-ströndinni og 1,1 km frá Nungwi-ströndinni. Boðið er upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og sérbaðherbergi í Nungwi. Quaint villa with wonderful staff and dog (Perro). Stefano and his staff were warm and very welcoming. Rooms are spacious and comfortable (beds a bit on firm side). Bathrooms clean and functional. AC and fan worked great. Location is ok. Road to Villa is unpaved and a bit rough. Takes ~ 10 min to walk to Royal Beach/My Blue resort (which is much better than Nungwi town beach). From there, you can walk south (depending on the tide) to Kendwa beach in ~25-30 min where you can rent lounge chairs/access to resort pools for a reasonable price ($8 USD per day).

I stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful experience at this beautiful villa surrounded by nature. Among the many highlights, I would like to highly commend the swimming pool and the food. The pool is kept at a comfortable temperature, and the villa’s buildings provides shade, allowing me to swim under the sky without worrying about sunburn. I also appreciated that the pool stayed open late, making it possible to swim while stargazing. The restaurant being open all day was another great advantage. The breakfast was absolutely delightful, and I chose to have all my meals at this restaurant without feeling the need to dine out. The manager and staff were incredibly kind and responsible, working together with nice teamwork. When I needed a tour guide, the manager promptly arranged one, helping me fully enjoy my time exploring Zanzibar. The owner also checked in to ensure everything was doing well.

HOOM er nýenduruppgerður gististaður sem staðsettur er í Bwejuu, nokkrum skrefum frá Bwejuu-ströndinni. Boðið er upp á loftkæld herbergi með ókeypis WiFi og einkabílastæði. Definitely one of the best experience as a guest, that starts with a very warmful welcome and ends with an emotional goodbye that lefts me in tears. Thank you for everything guys, especially for my birthday suprise :) See you next time!

La Base B&B er staðsett í Kiwengwa og býður upp á gistingu við ströndina, 39 km frá Peace Memorial Museum. Boðið er upp á ýmsa aðstöðu, svo sem einkastrandsvæði, útisundlaug og garð. Roberta the hotel manager was amazing. she is super nice and we had great conversations with her. the two dogs at the property were the cutest little creatures. very nice garden to chill and relax away from the very busy beach. it is a little oasis. rooms are very new, beautifully designed and the AC and internet are working great. the rooms are a short walk to the restaurant and the beach. the restaurant is beautiful and there are several sun beds to chill. overall the staff was very friendly.
