Great breakfast every morning with a great staff. Restaurant on site if you don’t feel like venturing. Water activities and tours available on site ( we did one). Really great place to stay in Kendwa.

Featuring a terrace with pool views, pool with a view and a garden, Zuzanu house can be found in Nungwi, close to Nungwi Beach and 1.6 km from Royal Beach. This place in Nungwi is truly exceptional. The highlight of my stay was the owner, Zuzana, and her wonderful team. Zuzana is an incredible host, meticulously attending to every detail from check-in to check-out. Her thoughtfulness shone through in the valuable recommendations she provided for restaurants, local attractions, and tours. She’s not only helpful but also genuinely lovely to interact with. I stayed in Room 2 for nine days, and it exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with everything I needed. Each room comes with its own outdoor seating area (or a balcony if you're upstairs), complete with a convenient clothesline for drying beachwear—a small detail that made a big difference. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe in the area, and the beach is just a quick 1-2 minute walk away. The breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh fruit, juice, eggs, local bread, tea, coffee, and even local porridge. It was always a great way to start the day and have a nice conversation with the staff. A special shout-out to Barack, who, like the rest of the staff, greeted me with a warm smile every day. One particularly memorable gesture was when I burned my arm and Zuzana generously provided medication and cream, even coming to my aid late at night. She also offered to change up the breakfast menu to keep things interesting, though I was more than happy with the daily spread. Lastly, Zuzana arranged for my airport pick-up with a fantastic driver named Salim, which made my arrival smooth and stress-free. In short, I can’t recommend this place enough—it's a hidden gem in Nungwi. I wish all the best to the team.

A few steps from Jambiani Beach, Olamanga Beach Villa Adults Only is a recently renovated property situated in Jambiani and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and parking on-site. I love everything about the property, very close to the village where you can find supermarket, restaurants, and any other kind of tour that I was looking for. 1min walking to the beach , not packed beach and with very chilled vibes, perfect for couples and families. The rooms are beautiful and comfortables, details oriented. Pool just for us anytime we wanted , and the fact that they don’t do the cleaning everyday for the climate impact we found it very ecological and nice, something that we appreciate.

Located in Paje, 200 metres from Paje Beach, Karibu House provides accommodation with a garden, free WiFi, a shared kitchen, and private check-in and check-out. Vanessa, Deus, Elisebetta and the whole team are incredible. Very Positive helpful people. The best host and hotel in paje, no doubt!

Situated in Paje, within 300 metres of Paje Beach and 18 km of Jozani Forest, Chokoro House features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free... Everything! This place was top-notch and a wonderful way to end my 3 months of traveling in Africa. The rooms were spacious, well designed, and very cozy. I felt right at home when I arrived, and the entirety of my stay. The breakfast was undeniably amazing, made with love, local ingredients, and each dish was explained with heart and soul! Such an amazing variety 😍 Was a very short walk right to Paje Beach ⛱️ I finally had actual hot water, water pressure, and a nice place to shower and rest. I loved the outdoor resting area. You could have breakfast in privacy if you wanted, and the whole ambiance was ultra relaxing. Another great touch was the coffee and tea station in the room. The staff decorated the bed with a Karibu Welcome, and more flowers were used to decorate the room. I stayed for a short time, but I'd def stay here again! 💯

Set within 600 metres of Royal Beach and 1.1 km of Nungwi Beach, Villa Kumi features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Nungwi. The owner and he's team were great!!! Rooms were clean. The setting and garden and pool was all great.

Close to both Royal Beach and Nungwi Beach, HOMELAND SWAHILI LODGE Nungwi Backpacker Apartments BUDGET is situated in Nungwi and has a hot tub and garden. amazing vibes, the owner is almost too nice in the things he will do for you to make sure you have a good stay. breakfast was one of the best I had in Tanzania. no AC, but the fans worked really well.

A few steps from Bwejuu Beach, HOOM is a recently renovated property situated in Bwejuu and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The pool, staff, room, environment, location, breakfast, cleanliness, everything was amazing. We recommend it very much to anybody.

Situated 39 km from Peace Memorial Museum, La Base B&B offers a private beach area, an outdoor swimming pool and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Clean, big room with a big double bed. You can have rest easily. The pool was nice also. Nice design. We had daily nice breakfast included at their restaurant. The owners are nice, they can arrange nice trips and excursions. Definitely recommend, value for the money and felt like home.

Located in Nungwi, 600 metres from Royal Beach, Minah Bungalows provides accommodation with pool with a view, free private parking, free bikes and a garden. The bedroom was so spacious, loved the breakfast and their customer care was exceptional
