Room design and decor throughout the lodge were both top-notch. The bathroom deserves a nod of its own — wonderful setup. Hostess was incredibly welcoming and communicated very well over Line. I had a pleasant time meeting the other guests at breakfast. Service was fantastic and I will be thinking about the cypress walls and furniture for a long time to come.

Located in Fanlu, 10 km from Alishan, 仲明居Zhong Ming Ju Taoyi Fang features a sun terrace, an on-site restaurant and a shared lounge. We had a fantastic stay and felt incredibly welcome by the hosts. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the area, especially regarding the night trails. The highlight of our stay was definitely the exclusive night trail! It was an unforgettable experience to see the fireflies and the breathtaking Alisan landscape at night. The delicious food provided by the hosts was another big plus. They treated us to both tea and snacks during our stay, and everything was homemade and delicious. We also truly appreciate their help with transportation. They booked a taxi back to the city for us and even picked us up from the Longmei bus station upon arrival. This made our trip so much smoother and more enjoyable. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, the food was amazing, and the night trail adventure was truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a unique and wonderful stay in Alisan!

Located just 24 km from Alishan Forest Railway, 樂野仙蹤 offers accommodation in Alishan with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. We were so touched by their kindness and hospitality. I miss this home stay so much already! It’s probably best if you have a car to get here and enjoy some of the sights around the area. However, the host was able to arrange us to have a driver in a shared van. She arranged dinners and transportation both evenings! Everyone was so generous and kind. ❤️ The host offered us tea at every chance she got. She shared her Tsou culture and language. Her neighbours all have tea or coffee for sale. Make sure to ask about it! The host also gave us frank advice about the various attractions nearby. I think we would have done better to listen to her. This was the best sleep I got on the trip. That is a very firm bed. No AC, just a fresh breeze. I slept a solid 11 hrs and fully recovered from jet lag. Absolute highlight of our trip to Taiwan. We would go back in a heartbeat.

The room and bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Even though there was a language barrier the place is run by very friendly people willing to help you. Very much recommened, the area is a very good stop on the way to Alishan. Note, on google maps the place is listed with its Chinese name, look for 寶記景觀民宿.
