We really enjoyed the traditional tea ceremony where a tea expert prepared 3 types of locally grown tea. It was such a calming and peaceful experience, set next to the tranquil tea farm, and made for a great start to the day. The breakfast was excellent, super delicious and nutritious. I loved waking up to the beautiful tea farm just outside the window. We felt well taken care of by the tea farm owner.

Our room was so comfortable, and the property is located in a beautiful nook of Alishan. The owner recommended an amazing dinner place a 10-minute downhill walk away, and even picked us up from dinner so that we wouldn’t have to walk up the incline. He also cooked us a delicious breakfast, including vegetables from his own garden! Unfortunately, it rained the night we were there, so we weren’t able to do the night walk. My only regret is that we didn’t plan to stay for longer!

Even though there was a language barrier the place is run by very friendly people willing to help you. Very much recommened, the area is a very good stop on the way to Alishan. Note, on google maps the place is listed with its Chinese name, look for 寶記景觀民宿.
