Fernanda was an amazing host, very hospitable. Breakfast was lovely with a great variety of fresh regional products including homemade jams, different cheeses, fresh bread baked in wooden oven. Views were breathtaking, everything clean and quiet. We got an upgrade of our room to a double bed as they were not fully booked. Fernanda prepared excellent dinner for us.

The hospitality of the hosts added an extra layer of warmth to the experience, and their thoughtful gesture of a welcome bottle from their own vineyard was much appreciated. It was an unforgettable retreat, and I can't wait to return.

Superb, modern, air conditioned, fully equipped and spacious apartment. The owners could not have been more helpful with questions I had about access and travel. Excellent door code system. Nice breakfast in local friendly bakery (brush up on your French!). We didn't need it but there was sufficient private parking at property and nice balcony. Regua is good base for exploring Douro region. Lidl closeby.

Is passionate about the things he does, also could have a conversation about other things than Portugal and the wine, it's appreciated. The location is breathtaking, there is nothing not to like. Would recommend it to anyone, beside Maarten himself and the location his wines are great too :)
