The staff at this guest house were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable with breathtaking river views, amenities pool, jacuzzi also nicely located to keep that amazing scenery as background!

Casa dos Correios is an an excellent location as it is only a 1 minute walk from the main street of Vila Real and only a 5 minute walk from the bus station. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet, and was exactly as shown on the website. The owner was obliging in letting us check-in early and explained the interesting history of the building. We would certainly stay there if we ever visit Vila Real again.

Terletak di Peso da Régua, A Tendinha - Guest House menyediakan WiFi percuma dan pemandangan bandar, 12-minit berjalan kaki dari Muzium Douro dan 14km dari Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

Perfect location to visit wineries! Amazing little villa with beautiful surroundings! Just out of this world amazing staff! The daily fresh bread and a fridge stock with breakfast items were certainly a highlight! All this on top of the wine produced at Monte Travesso!

We can't recommend this accommodation more for a long weekend in the Douro Valley, off-street and secure parking was another huge bonus!

Breathtaking view and a very friendly host with passion for wines. We had a chance to try the excellent wines produced by Maarten, who was also a great companion for conversation and recommended us a very good restaurant for the dinner.
