A wonderful welcoming place in the centre of Napier. Close by the sea, the beach, the beautiful boulevard, the restaurants and the shops. It immediately felt like home. Esther and Tom are the most lovely hosts, you’ll may experience. Nothing is too much trouble, just perfect in every way. Esther has amazing home cooking and fresh baking available for the mornings and afternoon. They are also full of local knowledge and trivia, if you need any recommendation for visiting places in the area. The house and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Fantastic bathrooms with walk-in shower, heated floors and luxurious toiletries. So many lovely things are presented, like homemade cakes or cookies when you arrive back at home in the afternoon. Freshly made, fruit salads, cakes, jams, and bread in the morning with the choice of either cooked or continental breakfast. Drinking tea or wine in the afternoon with all sorts of freshly made nibbles. Port and chocolates at bedtime. We’ve stayed at many 5 star accomodations in the world , but this place is so much more…… Words fail us; you have to see and experience it for yourself! Therefore, we would encourage anyone visiting Napier in New Zealand to treat themselves to this quintessential experience. Our stay at this luxury accomodation, 415 Marine Parade was definitely one of the most memorable stays of our holiday in New Zealand. It was quiet and safe and has good parking. The room was more spacious than a motel room and has an outdoor patio area. It’s a short drive from the town center but there is no hassle of trying to park your car or dealing with the noises of the city. The breakfast provided was a great bonus also. Oh yeah, Lisa the host is pretty cool.

I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for genuine warmth and comfort during their trip to Napier.

Very clean, warm and easy access. Loved the breakfast selection. There was plenty. Host was lovley. Great place for out dog as right on a reserve.

Ashcott Homestead Bed & Breakfast mempunyai pemandangan gunung, WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma, terletak di Takapau. Very unique homestead. Well appointed throughout, loved the rich woodwork. John was a great personable host, and served up a great breakfast. Had a few glasses of wine on the porch with another guest couple in the rain. Could have stayed longer if we had the time.
