Breakfast was awesome and is included! We got the choice of quesadilla or eggs and everything comes with fruit and toast and coffee or tea. Always served on time and delicious. Room was very clean and tidy and staff were friendly and helpful. Big shoutout to Jorge who was our lovely receptionist, maintenance man, cleaner, and server. He was kind enough to unlock our room at 9:30pm after I accidentally locked us out. Hotel is along a major trucking route, but the hotel makes this very clear and it wasn’t a surprise. Pretty much everywhere along this route has been affected by the Tren Maya construction. Noise was covered up by A/C which was awesome. Private parking is a great bonus. Such a cute place and great access to Calakmul. We also loved the covered patio and spent evening out there listening to the crickets.

The cottage was comfortable, had AC, a hot shower, large bed with a mosquito net, and a fridge. The owner was very friendly and gave us great recommendations regarding visiting Calakmul (the starting checkpoint is a 45 minute drive away) and where to go for dinner (Xpujil is a 10 minute drive away and has many great restaurants). We were provided with some snacks for our early morning trip to Calakmul and the next day when we woke a bit later, a delicious breakfast with coffee. Fantastic!

Casa de Zari offers breakfast as well, 4 different options, please do try it, it is excellent! i loved especially the freshly made Habanero Sauce!:-) they are super friendly and helpful, thank you ladies! @parking: if you have a car you can park right outside on the street-be careful to not park in the handicapped spaces, though.
