Thomasha Homestay & Tuk Tuk Service er staðsett í Wellawaya, 34 km frá brúnni Demodara Nine Arch Bridge og 6,9 km frá búddahofinu Buduruwagala. Boðið er upp á garð- og garðútsýni. We all loved our stay with Thomasha and his family, they were all lovely and helpful with anything we needed. Thomashas wife even made us a delicious curry and rice for dinner. The building and rooms were all super colourful and cute. Brilliant location to experience a smaller local village but still able to access lots of nearby attractions

Mailagama Cinnamon Residence er staðsett í Sellakatara og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi og útsýni yfir fjallið. Gististaðurinn er með alhliða móttökuþjónustu og verönd. The staff organized a safari and was very helpful. Two tlmes we had Dinner and it was outstanding. I can recommend this stay.

Lake Front Yala Safari er staðsett í Kataragama, 18 km frá Tissa Wewa og 18 km frá Situlpawwa, og býður upp á garð- og vatnaútsýni. Amazing experience at Lake Front Yala Safari. The room was extremely comfortable and very clean but the best thing was the family that run this guesthouse, very kind and welcoming. The lady cooked a spectacular dinner, the best I have had since I'm in Sri Lanka, the daughter is a very smart girl who speaks very good English, she explained to me about the Sri Lankan culture and traditions of Kataragama. Last but not least I could book the safari through them at a very affordable price. I recommend this place 100%

Big room and bathroom with space to eat (so we could eat in our room instead of the restaurant upstairs, which was very cute tho...). Best wifi we had during our trip. Great location for Lunugamvehera Safari (we did not book it with them, but it seemed like we could because they also had a safari jeep). The owner speaks dutch and is very nice! We arranged a well priced tuktuk with her, that took us to Dickwella at 7 pm after our safari (about 2.30-3h drive). We enjoyed our stay and definitly recommend when visiting the Lunugamvehera side of Yala national park. Glad there was a restaurant in the hotel, because there did not seem to be much in the area (we didn't mind tho, we were only here for the safari :))

Boasting garden views, Kande Gedara Resort (කන්දෙ ගෙදර) features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 45 km from Buduruwagala Temple. Michael was one of the friendliest and kindest host we've had in Sri Lanka so far... and Sri Lanka is full of great people! The location is great if you are into nature and calm places, away from the crowds. He welcomed us with tea and snacks and we went for a short hike around the place. After that, Michael cooked the best rice and curry we've tried in Sri Lanka in about a month of our stay. Plus, you are welcome to learn the recipe! I would definitely come back to meet him back again.

Humbhaha frumskóga yala natural eco resort er með útsýni yfir vatnið og býður upp á gistingu með ókeypis reiðhjólum, garði og grillaðstöðu, í um 18 km fjarlægð frá Situlpawwa. Food and hospitality were amazing

Safari Lodge Yala er staðsett í Kataragama og býður upp á veitingastað og garðútsýni, 2,3 km frá Kataragama-hofinu og 16 km frá Lunugamvea-þjóðgarðinum. Ókeypis WiFi er til staðar. Staff were very friendly, room was nice and clean.

Grand Okka Hotel er staðsett í Buttala, 31 km frá Buduruwagala-hofinu, og býður upp á gistingu með vatnaíþróttaaðstöðu, ókeypis einkabílastæði, baði undir berum himni og garði. Lovely place and very quiet. Clean room and bathroom. Lots of space around the property. AC and fan too. Lovely owner, very helpful! We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you

We went to this place on 2024.08.03. It's a family trip. Superb place. Friendly Staff. Awesome weather condition. Not too far from Katharagama Dewalaya. We also enjoy my trip.
