The owner picked us up at the bus stop and welcomed us with a fresh drink. We were happy to stay at this villa. The room has everything you need, the ac, the fan and it was very clean. It is located a bit far from the center but we liked it even more, because it was super calm. The owner also dropped us at the temple entrance and picked us up from there on his tuktuk all at the price of pick me app. Then the other day he drove us to sigiriya and even packed us a breakfast to go (tip: put it in your backpack), showed us other places on the way back and then helped us arrange a jeep trip to the national park with the elephants. The breakfast and dinner we had there were delicious. The staff is extremely polite and friendly!

The actual villa with my own private pool was such a peaceful retreat right in the center of sigiriya but the incredibly kind and helpful owners, Mahesh and Chandhi really made it the most easy and comfortable experience. Before I arrived they arranged for a driver to pick me up from Colombo for the best price around, so my arrival couldn't have been smoother. Our diver Aigith was so reliable and helpful and we used his services every day. I highly recommend staying at least 3 nights and having Chandhi serve you her spectacular homemade meals poolside. We much preferred her meals to the restaurants. You do not need a plan before you get there because they will arrange things for you but this is what I did and it worked out perfectly: Day 1 airport pick up, swim in private pool hike pidurangala rock at sunset, come back and have dinner poolside. Day 2: sunrise at sigiriya rock and go to Dambulla cave temples and have lunch and dinner poolside. Day 3: Go to Anuradhapura and come back for snack and then dinner poolside. Day 4: Have an amazing breakfast and try not to cry when you check out after having such an amazing experience. I have been all over the world and this place really stole my heart. You will not find a more beautiful place that will take better care of you, especially at such a low price. I tipped a lot because I felt like they could have charged a lot more. Very kind, helpful and honest people that are willing to help you with anything at all.

It is in walking distance the Lion Rock, but you can also get tuk tuk at the bottom of the road.

Not only is the room beautiful and spacious, the owners Madhu and Sanjee make you feel like you're staying with friends. They are so welcoming and they go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. In addition, the food was delicious.

They help you with all of your questions. Hé is also a safari driver so its easy and cheap to go and spot some elephants. The tree house is very beautiful and clean. These people work very hard to help you with anything and They bring you everywhere.

You feel welcomed and at home from the moment you arrive. Beautiful rooms, common areas and pool. I personally ended my trip here but it’s a great starting point as you‘ll meet other (solo) travelers to exchange and join plans.

The terrace is large with nice dining table where you can enjoy eating tasteful dinner or breakfast prepared by the owners. Food is very delicious! The owner is very helpful and he arrange whatever you need. The room is spotless clean. We highly recommend this stay!
