Set within 17 km of Sigiriya Rock and 20 km of Pidurangala Rock, Hotel Hanguk Villa offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Dambulla. The owner picked us up at the bus stop and welcomed us with a fresh drink. We were happy to stay at this villa. The room has everything you need, the ac, the fan and it was very clean. It is located a bit far from the center but we liked it even more, because it was super calm. The owner also dropped us at the temple entrance and picked us up from there on his tuktuk all at the price of pick me app. Then the other day he drove us to sigiriya and even packed us a breakfast to go (tip: put it in your backpack), showed us other places on the way back and then helped us arrange a jeep trip to the national park with the elephants. The breakfast and dinner we had there were delicious. The staff is extremely polite and friendly!

Such a beautiful place with a great view! The room was nice and clean, and the breakfast was very good. The host was super friendly and helpful, and made sure we got to see and do everything we wanted in the area. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I booked this place because I read amaaing reviews… the experience I had exceed my expectations… you really feel part of the family from the very first moment, the owner is really considerate he truly cares about his clients!! He took me everywhere! Helped me with anything I would ask, made my stay unforgettable and truly local. Ask him to take you around you won't regret it, I has the best trips. The wife is also such a wonderful lady, she truly cares I could tell. Plus, location is the best, you are 10 mins walk to the cave temple in Dambulla which is the main attraction in the city. Delicious breakfast ( they arranged a gluten free option for me so good!!!) The bed is also very comfortable and hot shower very appreciated. I had a wonderful time.

Hidden Lake Cottages Sigiriya is located in Sigiriya and features a private pool and lake views. Featuring babysitting service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Location was around very scenic calm and country side surrounded by lakes and rice fields. The property was adequately maintained but rain was kind of bummer. Couldn’t use swimming pool because of continuous rain. The owner was kind enough to drop us to sigiriya rock and pick us back from restaurant. Also dropped us to bus station in morning. Breakfast was of good quality and more than enough quantity with lot of varieties. They also made tea for us several times during our stay. Overall very friendly and welcoming host! You should definitely stay specially in good sunny weather!

Situated in Sigiriya and only 3.8 km from Sigiriya Rock, Sigiriya Nature View home Stay features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The most authentic stay we had so far. This lovely family only has one room so you literally staying with them. It's a quite, lovely place in the middle of the green. We felt very welcomed, breakfast and dinner always made with love.

One of the best rooms we had so far in Sri Lanka, good hot shower and WiFi. All good restaurants within 5/10 min walking distance. The Lion Rock is also nearby. The breakfast is really good and the owner is really friendly and tries giving you a good time!

Rohan and his wifi are hospitile. They help you with all of your questions. Hé is also a safari driver so its easy and cheap to go and spot some elephants. The tree house is very beautiful and clean. These people work very hard to help you with anything and They bring you everywhere.

They also offer free trips and the vibe is really nice. Everyone is like one big family. You also can join for a safari trip, cooking classes and every night there is a family dinner.
