Offering a garden and garden view, Samba Ahangama is situated in Ahangama, 100 metres from Ahangama Beach and 1.7 km from Midigama Beach. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities themselves were modern and relaxed, and it was a 15 minute walk or very quick tuktuk ride into town. The food in the cafe was also wonderful 😊

In a prime location in Galle, Urban Galle Villa is a recently renovated bed and breakfast, which offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free private parking. Everything. It was wonderful.

Set in Ahangama, 20 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium, Villa Alba - Ahangama provides accommodation with an infinity pool, free private parking, free bikes and a garden. The most stylish and well designed place we stayed on our 3 week holiday to Sri Lanka. Ended up staying an extra night to enjoy this wonderful space.

With Narigama beach reachable in 70 metres, La-Vira Beach Villa features accommodation, a restaurant, a private beach area, an open-air bath and massage services. A real gem of a homestay, right by the water. You can literally walk barefoot from your room to the beach. Spatious rooms, amazing food and really quite: all you can hear is the waves breaking on the shore. The host, Viraj, hiw wonderful family and his assistant, Indiga, will make sure that you feel like at home. Highly reccommended.

Alice in Paradise, a property with a garden, is situated in Unawatuna, 1.4 km from Jungle Beach, 1.6 km from Rumassala South Beach, as well as 6.7 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium. Molt bona ubicació. Habitació molt maca i neta. L’encarregada ens va posar moltes facilitats en tot, ens va gestionar desplaçaments i lloguer de motos. Ens va donar recomanacions sobre activitats i llocs a visitar. Habitació gran amb aire condicionat, se’ns dubte repetiríem a aquest Guesthouse a Unawatuna.

Located just less than 1 km from Hikkaduwa Beach, Guruge villa offers accommodation in Hikkaduwa with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Guruge is the most genuine, welcoming and helpful host I had in my time in Sri Lanka. The hostel is basically located in his house and he makes sure to take you as part of the family for the time you’re in Hikkaduwa. The place is located centrally, 10 minutes walking to the beach, train and bus station but is still very peaceful. Guruge garden is beautiful and you’ll have chance to see animals. The house is clean and comfortable and he even cooked a delicious dinner on my arrival! I will definitely go back. Thank you Guruge.

Offering a garden and sea view, Sea View Villa Bentota, Induruwa is situated in Induruwa, 200 metres from Induruwa Beach and 300 metres from Bentota Beach. Located just right on the beach, you can see the ocean from the room. The room was clean, hot water, A/C was working. The breakfast was very good. If you have any preferences in the way of cooking, you can ask the guys and they will try to do all the best for you. The beach is very nice and empty. Nothing to do around, but if you are exhausted and want just to have a rest in peace and quiet-this is the perfect place for you.

STUTHI VILLA is situated in Ahangama and has a pool with a view and pool views. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. I had a beautiful room with an outdoor shower which I loved. The garden is a real oasis with interesting wildlife to spot and it was really relaxing to spend some time by the pool before walking down to the beach. The garden here is really special and the architecture of the building is beautiful. The staff were super attentive.

Attractively situated in Galle, Brixia Cafe & Guest features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. Perfect location next to the train station and the Dutch fort, spacious and very clean rooms, bathroom looks all new, better than at my place 😅 The host is very welcoming and friendly. I would come back within hesitation.

Situated in the centre of Galle, 400 metres from Galle Fort Beach, the historic Arches Fort features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden. Perfect location, very central. Extremely helpful staff. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller. The later check out time is an added bonus. 10/10
