Leo and Wanda clearly have a tremendous amount of warmth and experience, as well as local knowledge. They made us feel very welcome, and their catering (both breakfast and dinners) was excellent.

Since we traveled by car, secure parking was important (falling mangoes and coconuts, animals, etc.), but there was no issue as we could park in their private yard. The room was a comfortable size and equipped with air conditioning and hot water. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and since we spent an Advent Sunday there, they helped us prepare the traditional decorations for the occasion. We had many conversations, and they truly did their best to assist us in every way possible. This wasn’t our first time in Sri Lanka, and they perfectly embodied the hospitality, helpfulness, and kindness that the island is known for. Since we spend some time here every year, we’ve found yet another place where we’re sure to return.
