We were completely satisfied with everything. We loved the environment with all the greenery and flowers. Since we traveled by car, secure parking was important (falling mangoes and coconuts, animals, etc.), but there was no issue as we could park in their private yard. The breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. :) On request, we were provided with dinner, and if we mentioned what we wanted to eat, that was also arranged (we absolutely love jackfruit curry ;) ).
The room was a comfortable size and equipped with air conditioning and hot water. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and since we spent an Advent Sunday there, they helped us prepare the traditional decorations for the occasion. We had many conversations, and they truly did their best to assist us in every way possible.
This wasn’t our first time in Sri Lanka, and they perfectly embodied the hospitality, helpfulness, and kindness that the island is known for. Since we spend some time here every year, we’ve found yet another place where we’re sure to return.

This is a lovely property in a great location for Dambulla, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa and Minneriya National Park. Lots to see and do all around here. The room was big and comfy, with great views. The staff were lovely, very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fab and they went out of their way to accommodate my husband’s dietary needs. We also booked a safari through the hotel, this was last minute and our jeep arrived within 5 minutes. The price of the safari was cheaper than I found online too so that was a definite bonus.
Very beautiful garden, quiet. Basic but spotless. In our opinion a little bit to cheap as other guesthouses with the same facilities charged more. Modest charming owner.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The buffet dinner had a wide spread of dishes and desserts. The room was very private, quiet, and spacious. Check-in time was 2.00 pm but we were early, and they gave us our keys by 1.00 pm.
Jeewa was a great host! He was always trying to help and pretty much organised everything for us. The accommodation is very peaceful and the AC in the room was great.
We did several tours through him including Minneriya elephant safari, Sigiriya & Pidurangala rock, Spice garden, Cultural show and to get a Aryuwdric treatment. He dropped us off wherever we needed to go for a very cheap price.

Furnished verandah outside room with beautiful private garden. So quiet. Spacious room with delightful en-suite. Delicious meals, breakfast & dinner, served in purpose built guest area. Most hospitable family, also very helpful with recommendations as to what to see in the area eg. nearby lake walk at sunset.

Excellent place! The rooms are spacious, very clean and modern. The place is quiet. There are only two rooms and are fully separated so you will not get noise from next door neighbours. The balcony is very nice to to sit there and relax. The owners are very friendly. Breakfast is delicious and even too much :)! Great location! Only 5 mins walk to big supermarket and bus stops. You can take bus easily to Sigiriya or also the tuk tuk is very cheap as the rocks are close by. There are direct buses to Kandy or Anuradhapura.

The host is very nice and helpful (stopped the bus for us, borrowed a charger, ...). The host only speaks little english. One time he did not understand us so he called his son Ishan to translate.
Breakfast and dinner were plenty, good and cheap.
Habanara is the perfect location to visit Polonnaruwa, Annuradhapura, Sigyria and Dambulla - even by bus. Habanara is nicer than Dambulla.
One nice thing at this hotel were the beautiful rooms situated in quaint bungalows. While the term 'luxury' might be a bit overstated, the comfort of the bed and the unique shape of the housing more than made up for it. However, what truly sets this accommodation apart is the exceptional service. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home.
Outstanding! Beautifull young family providing a fantastic service the comfiest bed I have slept in. Ac can be set to freeze the nuts off an eskimo lovely and cool with private balcony with breakfast included in the super low price and they can even arrange a tuk tuk cheaper than any other in town would not stay anywhere else if I was to go back 10 minutes walk to the town with restaurants and supermarkets dotted inbetween
