I had so much fun playing card games with Leo and Wanda! Leo worked in the tour industry, so he has connections and knowledge about everywhere. They booked everything I needed, and personally drove me places as well. I had the best time here, and will never forget my experience and the hosts who became friends!

The breakfast was also good and sri lankan style. The owner and his family were super friendly and helpful with everything. They even called the Trainstation to ask for the train schedule for us and allowed us to park our tuktuk in their garden for two more days after our stay while we visited jaffna by train.

We stay 4 nights and then extended, my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. He was full of recommendations for places to eat and things to see; greeted us with tea; arranged a tour; drove us to the bus station; cooked us a traditional meal; on and on and on. I can't talk them up enough. The Guest house is quite near both the new town rail station as well as the bus station, it is right across from an island that has hundreds of birds (I counted a dozen species) nesting in it.
