Room was small but had all the amenities and was incredibly clean. Breakfast delicious and owner, Kim, a really kind man with a sense of humor! We totally recommend!

Geonmak Stay is awesome - so glad I stayed there. It's a really short walk to the Mokpo Station - I took the KTX from Seoul, arrived at night, and it was quick and easy to walk there. It's an interesting place, different in some ways from anywhere I've stayed, but different in a way that I really liked. The room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. You check in at the Pub downstairs, and the English instructions they gave me were pretty clear - everything worked. The bathroom IS the shower - don't aim the shower head at the trash can or toilet paper roll, though. The bidet seat buttons were all labelled in Korean, but I figured them out pretty quickly, since I have a Toto Washlet at home, anyway. The people at the pub are great. Their English is not great, but being young, they quickly pulled out translators on their phones which helped a lot. There is a refrigerator and microwave (again, knob labels in Korean) in the small kitchen on the second floor. The neighborhood is not so upscale, but felt very safe and walking around (it's only about 100 yards from the harbor quay) was great - you can get fresh fruits and vegetables their easily. There are some cool bakeries and coffee shops nearby, in addition to plenty of mini-marts. In summary, I had a great experience - be sure to go down to the Pub often!!

Wonderful traditional room in hanok house in a convenient and creative area between the station and the mountain. Very welcoming host and fabulous fresh breakfast. This is a lovely gentle, creative place to stay made so special by the artist host. The forested mountain and sculpture park are a short walk up the steep hill behind for views into the far distance, and there are also streets of murals nearby. Highly recommended.

Smeštajni objekat White Windmill Guesthouse ima besplatne bicikle, vrt, terasu i bar u gradu Mokpo. Ovaj smeštajni objekat nudi zajedničku kuhinju, a gostima je na raspolaganju i restoran. The location is excellent!!! Just a 10 minutes walk from the train station and right in front of Yudalsan Mountain where you can take the cable car. The room was comfortable and being able to have breakfast before heading for a day of sightseeing was a big plus.
