Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Jinrae Lee's Traditional House offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The house was in an amazingly good shape with their traditional architectural style intact! While the bathrooms were not attached to the bedrooms because the house could not be remodeled to change the existing structure (as it is designated as a Protected Traditional House), each bedroom had an assigned private bathroom with a good shower and fancy amenities. This probably is the closest you can get living like a Josun Dynasty aristocrat in the modern day Korea. The owner lady was very helpful in providing tips for restaurants and things to do and see and very attentive to our comfort. While it is conveniently located (if you have a rental car) to explore the whole South Western provinces of Korea (UNESCO World Heritage Site tidal flats!), I thought that just staying in the house perched on the wooden floor looking out beautiful trees and drying persimmons with a book in hand itself was a huge treat. I would definitely stay here again!

Boseong sujinhanog pensyeon is located in Boseong, 2 km from Tea Museum of Korea, 23 km from Boseong Bibong Dinosaur Park, as well as 43 km from Nagan Eupseong Folk Village. One of the best stays in Korea. The host was super nice and treated us breakfast of red bean porridge and local green tea. The bedding was very clean and comfy. Would be happy to come back here again on another chance.

Located within 1.4 km of Suncheon Station and 3.2 km of Suncheonman Bay National Garden, Stay Dooroo provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Suncheon. Amazing place to stay. Staff so warm, welcoming and helpful. Room was great and the Korean breakfast was so delicious. Did not want to leave.

Located in Mokpo and only 200 metres from Mokpo Station, Picasso Guesthouse provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Nicely done, all the conveniences of an apartment. Big and spacious

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Chungaram is situated in Damyang. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. During our trip to Korea, it was one of the best. In reality, the room was much better than on the pictures. The health Center of useful tips, and tricks about place and area.

Located in Mokpo, 700 metres from Mokpo Station, Geonmaek Stay provides accommodation with a garden, free WiFi and full-day security. Geonmak Stay is awesome - so glad I stayed there. It's a really short walk to the Mokpo Station - I took the KTX from Seoul, arrived at night, and it was quick and easy to walk there. It's an interesting place, different in some ways from anywhere I've stayed, but different in a way that I really liked. The room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. You check in at the Pub downstairs, and the English instructions they gave me were pretty clear - everything worked. The bathroom IS the shower - don't aim the shower head at the trash can or toilet paper roll, though. The bidet seat buttons were all labelled in Korean, but I figured them out pretty quickly, since I have a Toto Washlet at home, anyway. The people at the pub are great. Their English is not great, but being young, they quickly pulled out translators on their phones which helped a lot. There is a refrigerator and microwave (again, knob labels in Korean) in the small kitchen on the second floor. The neighborhood is not so upscale, but felt very safe and walking around (it's only about 100 yards from the harbor quay) was great - you can get fresh fruits and vegetables their easily. There are some cool bakeries and coffee shops nearby, in addition to plenty of mini-marts. In summary, I had a great experience - be sure to go down to the Pub often!!

Located within 400 metres of Mokpo Station and 5.9 km of Pyeonghwa Peace Square, Jo Eun Jip Guesthouse features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Mokpo. Room is comfortable, good location, close to train station and bus stops. Simple breakfast was good.
