Cozy B&B run by a nice man who opened this place in his retirement. The place was clean and adorably decorated. Parking was available right in front of the place. Our room had lots of windows. Host was super attentive - he personally prepared a lovely breakfast. Despite the language barrier we had a great conversations. He put his heart and soul into this place and it shows ❤️ 100% will book here again if we return to Mokpo

What I liked the most was the breakfast given by the host each morning around 9 am. It was so nice and so good ! And the hosts were very friendly, they offered me a drive where I wanted to go almost every day ! Moreover, you are just a twenty minute walk to the tea plantation, so it is very nice and you can go there without a car or anything like that. The room is well equipped with a TV, a microwave, a refrigerator, a kettle, the air conditioner and the bathroom is also good !

I only stayed two nights but the staff was absolutely wonderful! The room was very nice and had all the amenities I needed for the short time I stayed. The bed was very comfortable and since I was working a day remotely I appreciated the desk a lot! I forgot to say that I was allergic to shellfish and both the receptionist and cook were worried when noticing and asked what I would be able to eat! I unfortunately didn't manage to eat much since I had some slight stomach issues but I really loved everything I tried! Also many thanks to both for making me feel comfortable by helping me and even one of them bringing me to the corner. I hope next time I can improve my Korean to speak fluently with both of you! Also definitely leave an entry in the guestbook!

Geonmaek Stay se află în Mokpo, la 8 minute de mers pe jos de Gara Mokpo și la 5,7 km de Pyeonghwa Peace Square, și include WiFi gratuit, o grădină și o terasă. Geonmak Stay is awesome - so glad I stayed there. It's a really short walk to the Mokpo Station - I took the KTX from Seoul, arrived at night, and it was quick and easy to walk there. It's an interesting place, different in some ways from anywhere I've stayed, but different in a way that I really liked. The room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. You check in at the Pub downstairs, and the English instructions they gave me were pretty clear - everything worked. The bathroom IS the shower - don't aim the shower head at the trash can or toilet paper roll, though. The bidet seat buttons were all labelled in Korean, but I figured them out pretty quickly, since I have a Toto Washlet at home, anyway. The people at the pub are great. Their English is not great, but being young, they quickly pulled out translators on their phones which helped a lot. There is a refrigerator and microwave (again, knob labels in Korean) in the small kitchen on the second floor. The neighborhood is not so upscale, but felt very safe and walking around (it's only about 100 yards from the harbor quay) was great - you can get fresh fruits and vegetables their easily. There are some cool bakeries and coffee shops nearby, in addition to plenty of mini-marts. In summary, I had a great experience - be sure to go down to the Pub often!!

Great location and easy to walk to nearby attractions. It was also simple to navigate to from Gwangju as the bus stop was close to the accommodations. The hosts were kind enough to bring me breakfast one of my mornings which was super nice. Room was great and comfortable.

It was quiet and I don't think many other guests stayed at the guesthouse. Everything was on one floor an the common area was spacious and slick and tidy. The kitchen area and the table looked quite appealing. Room, bed, shower, bathroom all (worked first of all, but also) were cozy and clean. And it had a good atmosphere in my opnion. All that for a reasonable price and I am just all arround content.
